red hot chili peppers have had 2 of the greatest guitarists ever,hillel slovak and john frusciante...they had dave navarro for 1 album(95's one hot minute),but he didnt have the musical connection with flea and anthony kiedis that the other 2 did...red hot chili peppers are legends who are still relvant,even at over 40 years old(except frusciante,who is under 40)
