@2002films There was no league assistance. And I don't approve of such a thing. You watch some of the other games , the Kings were awarded many more free throws than the Lakers. Including one big no call while Kobe was taking a potential game winning shot and nearly had his jersey removed in the process. It was a good series. Both were great teams and either team deserved to go to the finals. But the Lakers prevailed and the Kings were eliminated. That's all that happened.

Tim Donaghy admited it was fixed to the fbi , and the fbi said Donaghy was being truthful in all information given . What Donoghy said about Game 6 of the 02 WCF has no real bearing in the court of law. It is all substantial, verbal admittance of something that has no other factual evidence of being true. People that say it doesn't matter that game 6 was fixed because the Kings should have won game 7, that is the stupidest s%&t I've ever heard. The refs gave LA a game! There shouldn't have been a game 7! Kings beat the Lakers in 6, would have killed the lowly Nets (just as LA did), hence Shaq and Kobe only won two titles together; Webber, Bibby, Stojacovic and the rest should all have a ring right now.

horribly officiated game. I don't think it was fixed, but it was an awful display of officiating. That all being said, Stern has to do more than just say that these allegations only come because Donaghy is trying to lighten his sentence. Prove it David, Prove It!
