It's not exactly the same as the original, but I find this cover to be very well done and quite invigorating. I enjoy both renditions of the song, but for two different reasons. Ram Jam's original had that twang and goofy detachment that made it so popular in its day. This one, I think, connects with today's youth in their metalhead-esque clique, but still maintains that original spark. It is simply a matter of preference really.

tl;dr don't like it, don't watch it.

@killerdude23233 Agreed... but i would like to point out, that the ram jam version is not the original. the first recording of "Black Betty" is actually on a 1910 wax reel if you want to get an idea of how old the song really is. It is an american folk song. so i feel spiderbyte was just keeping up the tradition and keeping the song alive. I love both renditions!
