  • Another great post!

  • In her 1984 autobiography, Connie stated that she has always been "shy" around men, even though she often "hit the stage like gangbusters".

This video is a pretty good example of her hitting the stage like gangbusters!

At the very least, like a tornado.

  • @MrYellowlabs Great description! Love it!

  • This song sang by Connie always reminds me of those days when as a girlie I saw many girls with kinda small-pox on their necks (at least thats what I thought then)... but later realised they are steady... BUT never saw lipstick on any boys collars...I wonder why ...(?) haaa.

Growing up in those days I must have been sooooooo innocent...ha

This tune printed itself very deeply in my heart.

Tks. Dear Ken for this excellent post ...5 stars...:-)))

  • @laggie24 Love your comment, Aggie! You always give such good ones! You are welcome and thanks, as always, for watching! -- Ken

  • This one really takes me back...Summer of '59 train trip to Detroit to attend my cousin's wedding. This song was playing everywhere we went. This was the nascence of my life-long love of Connie.
