Believe it or not. Knuckle's was originally suppose to be Jamaican. And to have that Jamaican stereotype accent. But this idea was scrapped. Because some people. Might criticize him. For being to stereotypic. However. His shoe's are red and yellow. Which is the color for the Jamaican flag.

man I love Scott Dreiers Knuckles. For once Knuckles doesn't sound really hardheaded and stubborn. Dan Green Made Knuckles sound tough but kind of angry all the time I didn't like it. Travis has like a toned down Dan green version but it does sound better than Dan greens but Scott dreier is like the best one.

His Japanese voices are both awesome! All English voices in the movie were kiddy I have to say Knux was the best! I loved Michael McGaharn as knuckles it made him sound wise and fit him al ot. Dan Green sounded shitty in the anime but way better in the games. I love Travis Willingham(put Michael in #2) I don 't see much similarities with Dan, to me Dan sounds much older and Travis sounds more like a teenager which I think suit him more!

I've got this Knuckles toy or something, like 10 inches tall, and its modeled after Sonic Adventure. There's a button on his foot that makes him say the lines "Woah! That was incredible! I've never seen anything like it." and "Time to make a house call!" but it sounds absolutely nothing like himself in the Adventure game.. His voice is muskier and almost like an older version of Martin Burke but if he smoked or something.. I suppose the toys had different voice actors too?

Yeah. It's funny though. Sega finally decided to scrap the 4Kids voice actors and got some better and more well known voice actors for the Sonic games such as Kirk Thornton, Vic Mignogna, Roger Craig Smith, Kate Higgens to name a few. Knuckles is now voiced by Travis Willingham (Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist, Free from Soul Eater). The odd thing is that it sounds like Travis is really channeling a'lot of Dan Green's Knuckles into his role.

I kind of have to say that my favourite Knuckles interpretation was probably from Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. I say that because I remember Knuckles from Sonic 3 being more of a light hearted, goofy trickster character. Remember all those times Knuckles sabatoges Sonic and laughs at him? I feel the Knuckles in Sonic The Movie was most like the original. The relationship between Sonic and Knuckles in that movie seemed like how it would have been, as well. I think I'm a minority, but that's OK.

I know he gets a lot of shit from us Sonic fans, but I think that Dan Green has the best voice for Knuckles. Don't get me wrong. McGaharn and Dreir were okay, but Knuckles is supposed to be the wild, tough, stubborn badass that doesn't take shit from anyone, and...sorry...I just didn't see that personality in McGaharn's and Dreir's voices. They were just a bit too mellow for my taste. The good majority of the 4Kids cast may have sucked, but I think that Green was one of the few good ones.
