i ordered a berkey filter in early september and i still havent received it in the post. living in the uk i understand it takes longer for delivery but it looks like the people delivering the products could be messing about. i dont blame the company. i have mentioned it tho and i cant track it down in the uk, the main post service dont deliver it so it looks like i might have to cancel the order. id like to of used their filters aswell. heard theyre reputable

@heavensarmory I'm looking for the same thing. I think there is always a fundamental flaw with any "at home" test shown. I currently use a big berkey so don't think I'm a hater; I don't see quality science in these tests.

How many gallons of water can you purify before you have to change the filter?? Can a person buy new filters or just get a new bottle??

This depends on what kind of water you are filtering, If you are filtering raw pond water you can filter about 150 - 200 bottles before changing the filters ( new filters are about $18)

You can filter over 500 bottles of tap water or pretreated water.

Quite a savings over buying bottled water

yes but it is very easy to add more water , I have squeezed out all but a few tablesppons in my Berkey Sport

Urine is sterile and safe to drink if done fresh. It's when it gets old the bacteria makes it unsafe.
