  • @megajames12 No there is not. But my wife usually tells me to SHUT UP anyway and the mic is stereo.....

  • ok man I just brought this cam for school but how come my quality doesnt look like this?

  • @FaceTrueReality You possibly need to change your "SETTINGS" in your camera menu?

  • whats in the bag on the table at 2:46 ;-P

  • @LatigidGolana It is a BUG that scared my wife into a screaming GIRLIE girl. I put it in a bag and put it next to her morning coffee to torment her....I think she is STILL running!

  • Do you know if you can trim videos right off of it?

  • @Codyscoots1996 Not that I am aware of? I have Pinnacle if I eve do any editing.

  • @scooterNbmx4life NO editing software. I connected the camera with a usb cable & uploaded it directly. Other videos I simply popped out the memory card & inserted it into my laptop & uploaded. Bot equally easy. I have taken long movies since & used my Pinnacle software, just never uploaded any of them.

  • @YoungAndPrepping Sorry I never used (or tried) that program? I use Pinnacle but with this camcorder, I don't even edit anymore, just upload right off the memory card....

  • love 1:20 - 1:27 background sound

  • How about the battery?

  • @fabustama Well I have NO idea what your question is???? Yes, it has one....very small with a short life of just over 30 minutes if shooting quick & dirty like I do in lots of tiny clips. As a result, I bought 3 extras all at UNDER $4.00 each and with a higher 1000mah rating. So cheap it doesn't bother me at all. Let me know if this is NOT what you are asking?

    Mike

  • @mikecartwrightbeach that's what I was asking for, thanks...

  • @datchickspoiled Yes it does and that is something I also needed and NOBODY ever mentioned as a feature of this camera! It should have been the very 1st thing I mentioned as it is SO important. Now, if it just had the remote control like my Canon....

  • How does it do indoors or with low lighting ?

  • @bobjr94 Pretty good actually. At least for it's price. At least compared to my 4 times the price Canon FS100. I will try to make a video tomorrow or the next day and post that. And I will do it "real world" NOT with a bunch of lights turned on.

  • @mikecartwrightbeach Cool then. Ive been looking for another lower cost camera that has acceptable quality in low light. Take a look at my videos and youll see why.

  • @bobjr94 I see that. Sadly, my best "guess" is that for a club setting, NO cheap camera will do much good for you? No real experience in that arena so not sure. I'm afraid in your case, success will depend on how much money you spend? But then again, I have spent over $1000.00 on a few occasions for a camcorder and each one was WORSE than this so no idea how to guide you for club stuff?

  • Why are zoomed in the entire video ?

  • @bignos29 NO zoom on ANYTHING, at any time during this video???? I was sitting in a chair in my yard next to my fountains. Then I got up & walked around the side of my house. NO zoom used at all. The zoom actually works very well as it is optical, not digital. Very limited but quality stays good (for me anyway).

  • why are zoomed in ?

  • Thank you! Finally a good video on this camera. :)

  • @anonymousstormchaser Ha! I wouldn't call it good. But I'd call it what I do. Quick, grab the camera and walk around, NO prep, no tripod etc. Just down & dirty quick shot. Now while the bandwidth is NO big deal to watch at home or on the TV etc, this tiny UNDER 3 minute video took about 3+ hours to upload to YouTube! NO way I will probably bother with more, not at high resolution unless just a bunch of ultra short little things for reference for shoppers?

  • What kind of video editing software do you use? There are ways of uploading it as a smaller file.

  • @anonymousstormchaser

Ordinarily, I would use Pinnacle. But to allow folks to see what this camera will offer, I simply uploaded RAW video directly from the SD card, NO software used at all.

  • Ah, when you upload videos like that it takes significantly longer. I suggest using the video editor. I also suggest using a slower fps because it will be a huge file anyway and take a long time to upload. I was testing HD rendering on sony vegas and a 16 second clip took 5 min to render and was like 4GB. 4GB!!

  • @anonymousstormchaser

I know. It was MURDER putting up with this but again, I really wanted those who have no software to edit with, see exactly what they will get, and if shot improperly like I did with NO tripod etc. I wanted to show the camera at it's worst which really surprised me nonetheless. But from now on, I cheat!!!!

  • haha ok. Idk if you know this, but when you render HD footage in your video editing software, you should do it in MPEG 2. Its a shorter render time and its a shorter youtube upload time. with good quality :)
