  • the generals sure didn't like that peaceful event in 1914

  • I have no food, no one I like, and a shit load of people who do not have my money I have loaned them, I never feel good around any holiday. it is always extremely painful for me, I think of how many children I do not know who are hungry sitting alone some where or how may are starving or cold. this is why it is so painful I just do not know so I stay alone

  • Happy Holidays!

  • Amazing.

  • Let's make our best to "do" Christmas all year long!

  • It was a good one for me. Hope your Christmas was a good one too. Very nice thought & loved the pictures. Happy New Year.

  • Good to hear from you again, it's been a while. Hope you're enjoying the holiday ;-)

  • Cheers!

  • That WW1 Christmas story gets me everytime :) .

  • Christmas, Its about the birth of Jesus Christ, Why the hell would I buy gifts and decorate my house on Harry Potters Birth day. Think about it, There is NO GOD's Nor a baby Jesus. To cellibrate his birthday is another delusional part of religion. If you want to FEEL good just try being a better person the rest of the year!

  • @3101010

Uh no actually it's not. That's a modern assimilation of various other cultures and older traditions. Celebrations of the winter solstice are much more ancient than even jolly old Abraham. Most of which have nothing to do with anyone's birth day, let alone someone who performed magic whether that's jebus or harry potter. There is nothing delusional about celebrating culture and tradition without belief, because there's no belief to be deluded about. Think a little harder.

  • lol, nice, but silly..

no need for war anyway, you don't need christmas for it.. stories like this... actually , make me like christmas less.

well, any truce is good, no matter how short.

  • Giving gifts and being kind to each other has nothing to do with religion. All of our morals have developed through evolution. People want to help and be needed and looked up to naturally. Being good is natural however our minds can allow us to believe in utter nonsense and allow us to commit terrible acts. Man's ego and his greed has got to be understood and controlled or it will kill all of us. Religion is at the top of things that will destroy us all and it needs to exposed.

  • @baxtar1963

I like to think that some element of our moral progression is the development of society, given that it plays such a huge environmental role in our moral behavior. Thus the engagement of rationality and science have also developed our morals.

  • During WWI only 20% of the people actually fought. Most saw it as stupid but they didn't have a choice and made deals to shoot over each others heads so it looked like they were fighting. Trench disease killed a lot more of then than bullets.

  • Why wait till Christmas to be kinder and nicer to each other? Why not make being nicer and kinder to others something we practice all year long. We may have different beliefs, but lets tolerate individuals who believe differently, and agree to just disagree.

  • Merry Christmas indeed. :-)

  • For some reason I feel compelled to play soccer with Theists.

    Merry Christmas!

  • An atheist cannot celebrate Christmas. Christ is a god. Mas(s) is a coming together of the religious to celebrate their god. Christmas is a celebration of a god.

  • @stevehayes13 Watch me. You can have all the exciting Christian bits such as... Mass.

And I'll enjoy all the boring Pagan stuff, such as caroling, drinking, giving gifts, the tree, Yule Logs, mistletoe, Santa, and gaudy decorations.

    Merry Christmas! =D

  • @stevehayes13 It's title yeah, but it's not about that anymore it's like the word "motherfucker" you may say "that motherfucker forgot to give me my change" but you don't mean to express that he fucks his mother, in that context it's a synonym for the word "guy" as christmas shed all relations with christ or god, it's just Santa Claus and friendly inspireing feelings and stories of peace. If you don't accept that then you're taking yourself too seriously and that is bullshit, and it's bad for ya

  • @stevehayes13 You have just proven that Christmas in its original meaning is not the right word for what atheists(and probably most of the other people on the world) are celebrating. nothing more!

  • @stevehayes13 merry xmyth man.

  • Gorgeous - Happy Christmas :-)

  • That was lovely. Merry Christmas!

  • Me too!!

  • YOU'RE ALIVE!!! Merry Christmas man.
