  • Thanks for this. I had it for the first time, when I went down south to Beaumont, Texas helping out after Hurricane Rita. I got educated on some great cajun food. I love it. Being a Yankee, I was teased about bratwursts, and no one had any of them. But I must say, I love boudin.

  • Every body has their own recipe. I like pork heart and pork liver in mine in addition to the pork roast etc.

  • I just returned from a business trip to Lousiana and Cajun style boudin and friend boudin balls were part of the breakfast. They may not look like naything other than sausage, but let me tell you that what I had was GREAT! That , some Cajun power Sauce and hot , strong coffee made me a happy man!

Cajun cooking and hospitality in some of the world's finest.

  • I had boudin in Baton Rouge. I wasn't too keen on it, until I tried it with a remoulade and that really made it great.

Didn't like the boudin or remoulade by themselves, but somehow they balanced one another out and made magic!

  • the Cajun wife is pretty smokin; ;)

  • what's the name of that boudin song? I can't find it anywhere on youtube...
