@unamaxify Architects are merely the "artists" of a structure. Engineers are the ones who do all the math and physics and ensure the structural integrity of a design. I know because I was a structural engineering major, till I realized the lucrative capacity in the financial career. I'm not disagreeing with the assertions you've made, just hate when people think of a building and only give credit to the architects.
Well maybe there are local differences, but my wife who is an architect had pretty hard courses on mechanics, material-science & general physics, she's doing allot of structural integrity simulations herself, from my point of view the line between architect & building engineer is heavily blurred. According to my wife the artistic part is less than 5% of the job, the rest would be 60% politics 35% science.
@unamaxify Well I'm not sure about graduate programs, but most undergraduate programs consists of very little math. Nothing to the extent of what an engineer has to endure. Engineers always take more rigorous math based courses. Just compare a structural engineering curriculum with an architecture curriculum. Though a good architect is required to understand what is deemed actually "build-able" before they present their design. No offense but I doubt your wife took any rigorous math courses

I've watched Zeitgeist -- it's an amazing film. Very well made. But the focus on 9/11 was pure bullshit. We were attacked by Muslim terrorists on that day. @unamaxify Architects are merely the "artists" of a structure. Engineers are the ones who do all the math and physics and ensure the structural integrity of a design. I know because I was a structural engineering major, till I realized the lucrative capacity in the financial career. I'm not disagreeing with the assertions you've made, just hate when people think of a building and only give credit to the architects.

Well maybe there are local differences, but my wife who is an architect had pretty hard courses on mechanics, material-science & general physics, she's doing allot of structural integrity simulations herself, from my point of view the line between architect & building engineer is heavily blurred. According to my wife the artistic part is less than 5% of the job, the rest would be 60% politics 35% science.

@unamaxify Well I'm not sure about graduate programs, but most undergraduate programs consists of very little math. Nothing to the extent of what an engineer has to endure. Engineers always take more rigorous math based courses. Just compare a structural engineering curriculum with an architecture curriculum. Though a good architect is required to understand what is deemed actually "build-able" before they present their design. No offense but I doubt your wife took any rigorous math courses

I've watched Zeitgeist -- it's an amazing film. Very well made. But the focus on 9/11 was pure bullshit. We were attacked by Muslim terrorists on that day. They had no help from the U.S. govt (which I'm no fan of) or from Israel, or Zionists. It was planned by al Qaeda for years, and executed on 9/11 with a 75% success rate. I choose to believe this - because that's what the evidence clearly points to, not because the govt told me to believe it. Truthers have zero evidence.

I see in the rubble, before torches were used plenty of evidence that the cores of the towers 1 and 2 were cut all over. I guess it proves people only see what they want to see, and not what is. Lots of proof in the Sonnenfeld video, again before torches were used. Core 4 inches thick cut almost square. Oh I guess that is just an anomaly of the collapse. Whatever.

There are scores of witness testimonies - of people who clearly saw an American Airlines 767, plus all of the physical evidence.

GIVE IT UP PEOPLE these buildings were hit by 767's, larger planes then they were ever intended to withstand an impact from. All the floors below the impact areas are undamaged and the buildings goes down in free fall speed as if those floor offered zero resistance.
