I have been a programmer for many years. Using c# for the last 10 years +/-.

I currently work as a software engineer, writing mainstream business apps.

Writing games has always been my passion though, and when I found Unity, then your tutorial series, I was in heaven :) (My wife is a little upset about the amount of time I have been spending watching your tutorials though ;)

Keep up the GREAT work, and I am looking forward to to the continued installments :)

Im still having trouble getting used to unity. I cant get used to the layout. Like where is everything at?

Also do you have any videos showing 3d modeling skills?

@BigPWilly123 There are a ton of modeling videos on YouTube already, so I am sticking to the Unity side of things. You can move the windows around in Unity to get the look and feel that you are after. You can even undock them to have floating windows. You can even customize the colors used in the editor.

you need to understand the code so you can make your own game

(do not copy-past the tutorial)

also i think that if you learn some basics about programming will be very helpful

Remember if you are big FAN of COD or BF i don't think that you can do a game in that level ALONE !!

that's why we never saw an INDIE game like COD but you can do a simple but original one :)

@alaslipknot There are a few indie games like COD but none of them have seen any sort of popularity. Most indie developers avoid the mainstream FPS and RPG formats because they just do not want to compete with big names like call of duty and the elder scrolls.

@Athomield I recommend you do the C# tutorials at 3d buzz, they are for XNA not Unity, but they will get you some great experience with the scripting language. Also there is unity3dstudent[dot]com their tutorials are in javascript, but if you intend to truly learn how to script it should be very easy to learn how to convert javascript to c# as the only difference is the syntax.
