  • Thumbs up if your middle class.

Can't believe I just said that.

  • Working class no underclass yes.

  • LISTENNNNNN IV GOT A BETTER ONE FOR YA HOW ABOUT YA ALL SCUMMY CLASS HAHAHHAAHHA DICKHEADS!!!

  • Classes society?? Naaa. Upper class is nobility who are stinking rich and may or may not work, middle class are people that have enough money and don't necessarily need to work but they choose to, working class are people that have to work to live and may claim a bit of benefit that helps them make ends meet and keep them actively working, then there is benefit class who are healthy but piss lazy and sponge off the state. Nuff said.

  • Her? Middle Class? hahahahaahhaha. No, you are a Chav. If you don't work you are DEFIANTLY not middle class as you are probably claiming benefits.

  • Brits have always been obsessed with class. Should become a republic

  • SUCK YA MUMS DICKSHEADS

  • .....

    I hate Being English.

  • @barkyindustries Why is that? Im curious.

  • Comment removed

  • @barkyindustries Well, though I posess a reaonsable amount of knowledge about English and British society, I still dont know why you say you hate being English.

Is it simply because of class?

  • @MultiSmartass1 It's pretty much everywhere class divisions, especially in schools, the amount of pikeys and chavs in my school are insane, we literally have a "Clan" of young pikeys who beat up Pre fects and steal other kid's property, and the chavs oh my goddon't get me started on the chavs....

  • @barkyindustries So you are still in school then? You havent' taken your school-leaving exams yet I gather.

Iam familiar with Chavs but what are Pikeys? Havent come across that one yet.

  • @MultiSmartass1 Gypsies, basically did you hear about the illegal campsite in the news that was raided the largest illegal gypsy site in Britain?

No you probably wouldn't because it would come under local news but that's what gypsies are, pikeys, stealing, scheming, brutal vicious creatures to be honest.

All of them, they're literally the Fair ground (travelling circuses) people are all theiving pikeys they literally mob town centres and stuff.

  • AND ONE MORE THING IF U LOOK AT THIS VIDEO AGAIN U WILL SEE ME AND THE GIRL IN THE PINK TOP DIDNT REALLY GET A CHANCE TO SAY ANYTHING!!!!

  • HI TO ALL THEM PEOPLE THATS PUTTING ME DOWN COZ IM IN THIS IM THE ONE WITH THE WHITE TOP ON I NEVER SAID I WAS WORKING CLASS I FOUNT IT FUNNY THAT MA FRIEND SAID THAT BUT IF SHE THINKS SHES IS THEN LET IT BE BUT U SHOULDNT BE PUTTING OTHER PEOPLE DOWN I DONT THINK IM WORKING CLASS OR MIDDLE CLASS OR LOWER CLASS IM JUST ME BUT OTHER PEOPLE THINK DIFFERENT OF ME LIKE ALL OF U DONT EVEN NO ME FOR A START!!

  • @missstevie124 Fair play to you, I'm sick of all these wankers judging people. Take care.

  • hahahaha...so cute x..lol

  • @HoneyMonster222 for sure, I agree with you. I havn't accused the people in this video of being scroungers - although the girl does say "but i don't work" which doesn't really imply that she is trying very hard to find work... but that aside, I have nothing against people on benefits... My partner is on them, she can't work as she is quite badly epileptic.

Really the only point I've been making is that blaming the tories for this situation is extremely retarded! They have nothing to do with it!

  • @HoneyMonster222 yes they are young people, well done...what's that got to do with anything I've said?? And how does that make me an idiot?... And not that it's really relevant but at 16 I was doing my engineering apprenticeship, not scrounging off benefits.

Did you even have a point to make..?

  • Well if you don't work and you live in a council flat, wouldn't that make you lower class? It seems that we now have 4 classes: lower, working, middle, upper.

  • How sad. This is just going to get worse with the Tories in charge.

  • @Lukege15 interesting logic, since it was labour who gave rise to the benefit scroungers...

  • @Mazthoril Hmm? The Tories are doing everything in their power to maintain the class system - university for the rich and Apprenticeships for the poor; demonising the labour unions.

The fact is the working classes would be absolutely fucked without parties like Labour. People like those in the video are an minority, most work hard (including my family) for basically fuck-all. But, it's clear you're nothing but a middle-class kid that knows nothing but what your Daily Mail-reading dad tells you.

  • @Lukege15 wow, you've built a complete conclusion on me, my family, my "class", my age, AND what paper my dad reads based entirely on one 13-word comment!

Yet another example of naive stupidity from a labour supporter! :)

  • @Mazthoril Yet another example of naive stupidity from a Tory supporter! :)

You don't really know anything about the subject, do you? If you did you would at least try to construct a coherent counter. Idiot.

  • @Lukege15 Aaaand he takes the bait! *chomp*

I didn't construct a counter because arguing with youtube idiots is the biggest waste of time since tony blair got into power... So, what makes you think I'm a tory supporter? That's another conclusion you blindly lept to. I voted English Democrat.

Try taking your own advice "at least try to construct a coherent counter" - you've thrown nothing but unsupported assumption at me so far :p

  • Hmm, very middle class, you can tell she is by the "lovely" laminte flooring she has. Urgh.

  • comedy gold

  • "middle class" means very different things in the USA and the UK. Her idea of middle class as "not poor" is common in the states.

  • Hahaha Clearly she knows a thing or two about this day and age lol.

  • Ne naw Ne naw oh shit

  • Why can't we put these people in prison

  • why do chavs insist on talking like absolute retards.

  • Class doesn't exist?

Yeah right I could hear her social status in her voice.

Britain will never lose its class system, the first step to eradicating it would be to eradicate the monarchy and aristocracy but that's not going to happen any time soon.

  • @ImaginedWriter and killing all the chavs, surely?

  • @sprucemaroose The great majority of them, some of them may yet be redeemable. However unlikely it may seem right now.

  • @ImaginedWriter That's a dead on remark and dovetails evenly with my own analysis of English and British society.

The class system and all its basic educational, economic and social inequity is the oil that lubricates England and the UK and make it "drive" like a car.

You take away or eliminate that class system and England doesnt " run" in the same way.

No way the powers that be would allow that.

  • They say that there is Working Class, Middle Class and Upper Class. But don't the upper classes work at middle management level????? Work that one out ...lol!

  • @GoldenLegends100 Look into it more... those folks are classed as "Upper Middle Class".

  • You can't really get away from class in England.

Despite the great and quite cataclysmic social and economic changes that have taken place in the UK, the class system still reigns supreme as the ultimate "sorting hat" and spihon of talent, education, employment.

I don't think the English can ever get away from it.

Class defines you in England in ways you have no control over .

    Its very fascinating and sad.

  • @MultiSmartass1 Not really.

  • Middle Class = Basically working-class ppl, except they have wild delusions of grandeur, an irritatingly pompous attitude towards their piers, a crippling persecution complex & are invariably politically right-wing (albeit in a cliche way)...

Hang about......am i describing the ppl in the vid or most of the ppl commenting here?....

  • @supahdupahguy81 yea but there are millions of exceptions to that.

The way I see it, is we have NO control over where we are born. what country, race, 'class' etc. It's how we adapt from the situation we were born in, how we view others and how we balance success with greed. Personally, I was born middle class, but i believe in left wing politics, obviously not living up to your 'right-wing' stereotype.

  • shes thick as pig shit "I'm middle class" BOLLOCKS

  • Oh LORD. This country slips lower and lower and loooooower

  • "I don't work so I ain't working class" - What a dumbass.

  • @jennywhojenny personally I think that was a good point!

  • SCUM!! Both all of them

  • Also. Does anyone know where I could find the torrent for these 2 shows? I laughed my arse off when watching live on BBC. Back in 2008. Time has fucking flown by

  • It isn't about class? What a dumb bint. As long as we have head-empty eejits like this in the 'working class' we'll always be second class citizens.

  • Yeah, that was a real HUMDINGER at the end. Is the class system that rigid in England.

  • No the girl did actually speak a lot of sense. Still, because of the way she's dressed and how her acccent sounds i must remember to disregard her views.

    Pathetic.

  • The class system in Britaian will begin to change with the new mainly torie government, as there will no longer be a middle class, there will only be the upper class and the working class as the sadistic cuts about to be implemented will suck even more life out of the economy thus many more people will be left jobless, but the upperclass will be richer than ever not caring at all about those that have suffered, as this is the conservative way of doing things.

  • Quality!

  • A fucking gem...

    Cheerz

  • The future of Britain, "iz jus lark middle class" lol

  • that is fucking stupid, she needs some brain cells

  • Most of us are working class..blue collar, white collar, pink collar..if you are dependent on your wage you are working class. The gap now is between the very rich and the rest of us.

As for Labour well they weren't really Labour under Blairism were they..The ignorant though have bought into the idea that somehow Gordon Brown was at fault for a worldwide economic crash..He wasn't..it was the greed of a tiny few that screwed it up for us..and under Cameron we will suffer for that greed.

  • @BLUEHIPPO47 I would agree. The correct term would be New Labour and Blair's rise meant the exclusion of socialism as the reining political mindset of his Labour administration.Blair was a terrible choice for the UK people but a fine one for the elites. In essense, he has cotinue to push neoliberal economic agendas but through a seemingly liberalized face compared to the tories. Now, Gordon Brown was set up like James Callaghan in 1979 to go down with Labour's ship and usher in the Tories.

  • People make me laugh. The term working class obviously exists cos it's a PC term for "underclass" people. Oasis, Michael Caine, Ray Winstone, Peter Kay, Kathy Burke, John Prescott etc. are all working class people with middle class lifestyles simple as. David Cameron or the average business owner from the suburbs work but their middle class no where near working class.

  • Please post more of this documentary! That clip was a scream.

  • everyone needs to open their eyes to this system...everything is not as it seems...educate yourself...for those of you who are wise enough to even realize what im talking about, spread the word bcoz this industry is effing us all up.

  • ... * do not want one

  • themothman - This is the man that gets one of the funniest comments I have ever heard out of someone!!

    But I dont work.... LOL

I'll tell you what, he can get my vote if he can make laugh like that again!!

  • I always wondered how to be middle class, I just have to stop working lol

BTW FuriousBOIAngel mothman is talking about Ashcroft, that cornerstone of everything that's wrong in politics. Labour and lib-dems have some bad apples in their ranks as well but he has been taking the piss off our country for over 10 years now!

  • "But I don't work"

  • @SoylentGreeeen Gentlmen don't work they invest. That's how they make their money.

  • Poor people.

  • I was born in Ed but because my late father was US,I was dismissed as redneck by the "middle class"English "ladies"SNOBBY B ITCHES,Oh! Iwas entitled to a back street trollop but anyone of the Hilary Dwyer type,it as sorry, nothing doing & whispery comments about 'the american side of things'

  • @Poldark3 Interesting. Class is a combination of pure economic capital and cultural capital. Even if you attain one, you can be looked down because of the other and because of the still rigid class positions in England and the UK as a whole, what you sound like, what you do for a living, what your interests and hobbies-every aspect seems to be added up and given a passing or flunking grade.

  • Comment removed

  • I wish the whole of this was on youtube...ol' JP was quite the charmer when he was having fried chicken with this triumvirate of big titted-slags..

  • The fact is class is something you are born into ..if you are not upper class you never will be . working class can aspire to be middle class .

MIddle class kids often go to middle class schools and upper class kids will always go to upper class private schools .

chavs are just scummy no hopers in every sense

  • Why does anyone call it working class. Whats next in this sequence upper, middle...... lower. Working class people are ashamed of being lower class, Same as middle class people are ashamed of being middle class, because it implys there boring and conventional. It's only the upperclass that dont give a shit about it. Really if it's solely about money what about a person that has a masters degree but cant get a job, are they lower class?

  • prescott sold out the working class along with labour many years ago, remember the 3million pound grace and faver house he lived in till he was court out, all he has left now to live on is his gold plated pension indext linked plus goverment consultancy work radio and tv shows, books, ectra, exctra, when will the working class realise labour has been useing them for years as a tool to climbe to the top the the heap throwing them just enough scraps off there tables to keep them voting for them.

  • @thedavewalkershow Don't talk rubish. Everybody espires to be rich, what is wrong with that? Given the chance anybody would take the money and everybody has not just prescott. Surely it is worse when the Tories do the same even though they have more money to start with. The point is clvss is a matter of principles, you can still be rich and help the working class, something the Tories know nothing about. Before you start accusing others look closer home, in particular Lord Ashcroft.

  • @thedavewalkershow While ever politicians are allowed to take advantage of the system, they will. There needs to be a reform of government, which Labour and the Lib Dems agree with. The Tories say all they will do is get rid of the bad ones. This still leaves other politicians to take advantage of the system after the storm has blown over. Why is this? There's a certain Lord Ashcroft that won't let them.

  • @themothmanreturns lol what makes you think that Labour has helped the working class. They've made life so much harder for us. They're the ones who got us in this debt not the Tories. Left wing views have fucked up this country and now middle class are going through what working class people have gone through for so long living on beneifits cos there's no jobs out there for us.

  • @1988MILLWALL I think Labour has helped the working class through: vast investment in education and the NHS, the minimum wage, working tax credits, sure start childrens centres, winter fuel allowance. And if you think putting more people on the dole is going to bring the deficit down you are very much mistaken, there are jobs there and they should be invested in not cut as soon as possible.

  • @themothmanreturns As a working class person i'm telling you now, Labour has not helped the working class.

  • @thedavewalkershow This is the man that provides 40% of funding for the Tory party, this is the man that influinces Tory policies, this is the man that affects law in the House of Lords, this is the man that lives in Belize so he doesn't have to pay British taxes even though he has a say in our law, this is the man that bribes Belize so he doesn't have to pay any taxes at all, this is the man that bribes Belize to change laws that help his businesses.

  • @thedavewalkershow This is the man that is the real face of the Tory party.

    This is the Tory party.

  • Ur not saying Prescott is a Tory r u themothmanreturns ???? !!!!!

  • No of course not, I was talking about Lord Ashcroft.

  • @themothmanreturns This is Lord Ashcroft.

  • Jesus, I'm in a working class family and if she said shes middle class then she needs something in her head sorting out

  • she says that class doesn't matter in this day and age but i would say it's acknowledged now more than ever

  • yh it is acknowledged more by middle and upper class people rather then working class people, class does matter as it can get you to places that would be impossible if you were working class, sad really.

  • Like where? Sorry that it sounds like an attack, im just curius to see where, i myself am working class (hence the wording lol) and have no idea what you mean, i think its ignorence on my part though.

  • So these are the people who you are campaigning for Prescott? You really are a complete waste of (a lot of) space! Could someone please deport this fat inarticulate moron, who has nothing better to do than stir up class war!?!?!

  • I'd reeeeeally like to watch the full episodes of this. Anyone know where I can??

  • I know I'm being cruel and making fun of someone who doesn't know any better but jesus christ what an idiot. Surely she knows the difference between working class and middle class. Public schools aren't public but they're still called it ffs.

  • I want to insult her, but I'm speechless. They speak for themselves those kinds of people. Surprisingly.

  • 'Well I don't work....so I can't be working class' lol

  • His face at the end.... :p

  • My father is a bank manager so is my step-mother , we have a large house in the suburbs , since they work are we working class or middle class?

  • No money! Dont work! That makes you underclass. (same as homeless people, and benefits people. ) Working class are people whom have to work to support them selfs, Middle class, are working class with a better job, than traditional lower paid working class jobs. upper class have so much money that if they did not work, they could still keep themselves. Chavs is not a youth culture! (like Goths, But an expression, that refers to people, criminal and violent. Its what the V stands for .

  • Not working = middle class, apparently

  • Sure. It's never about what work you do. it's about the kind of work your section of society would expect you to do.

  • @Bald12342 Well alot of middle class kids do live off mummy and daddy i'm afraid!!!

  • Chavs are the fucking scum of the earth.

  • buh i dont work fucking brilliant

  • Is the whole series anywhere on youtube?

  • If I run my own Insurance Brokerage Business, what Class am I? I do not consider myself in any class. I have a Mortgage a car & Private Health Care but don't have any employees. Class system is crap!

  • You are a capitalist.

  • Am I? Is that good or bad? Sorry I don't understand this class thing. if you work hard and make good money does that make you a capitalist? I was brought up working in a council estate, and I still work as self employed in my own LTD company.

  • A capitalist is someone who owns property that they operate to make profit. They are fond of telling us that class doesn't exist, because it means they can neglect the needs and rights of working people, who work hard and get a pittance nowadays.

  • No, the poorer lower classes are more likely to believe and spread the idea that class doesn't exist or matter. The more well off and people of higher social classes are more likely to openly discuss class and acknowledge it.

  • its a load of shit anyway mate. Its ironic, marxism is created to benefit the working class yet its only adherents are middle class twats (you) who exploit the capitalist system to gain knowledge of it. Fucking middle class socialism, i can tell you've never been on an estate have yer mate

  • There's the working class.

    And the owning class.

Workers work and owners reap the profit. No such thing as middle-class.

  • well if you actually knew marxist history like you claim to you'd think differently. The first revolution is the bourgeois revolution wherest the aristocracy is overthrown and a economy based on money is instilled with a parliamentary democracy that favours the middle class runs the state. There develops a tiny capitalist class, and the gap between the proletariat and this capitalists who own the means of production is widened, however a bourgeois middle class who have political power stillexist

  • "But I don't work"... Says it all

  • They even nicked E17's puppy.

  • Nowadays, people who believe the class system is finito, buy themselves a Jag. What happened to first class rail tickets? Only plebs ride first class....or what?

  • The midlle class has to work and pay taxes to support these scumbags. The welfare system is destroyieng this country

  • oh fuck off and read your daily mail

  • And learn to spell.

  • fuckin slag

  • Best Quote ever.

    "But I dont Work"

Someones told her the middle class women dont have ot work. I suppose in some ways, she's right. We support her.

Good luck to ya love. You kids are worht the money.

Lets rob the banks and give these kids the money !!!

  • Ha ha, she's realy got hte worng idea, man.

CHAV was invented by the police, to describe your brother, father, uncle, and anyone who dares resist their domination.

You are workign class, and if you want to be middle class, oyu iwll just have to send yourself to a private school, and learn how to speak and spell.

There are THOUSANDS opf p[ricate and grammer schools, and those kids are middle class. And they have DEGREES.

Welcoem ot reality, now you can joing the fight, on the RIGHT SIDE.

  • @mikeybrumbrum I like this one... My parents both come from working class backgrounds, have worked really hard and consider themselves middle class. I went to a grant maintained Grammar school and left in 1996 with some pretty poor grades. I do not have a degree and do want one. I'm self employed through my own Ltd Company, as an IT Consultant.

You are what you make yourself. If you suck at society's balls, and never imagine anything greater, you will forever be a ball sucker.

  • @maaadkat I dont know what it like to live in England with the remnants of the class system. Here Class is a socio-economic phenomenon that nobody dares talk about even though we use the terms Middle Class and Working Class. I have a BA degree from a small state college here and I have been a freelance writer for 15 years. I agree with you-you are what you make yourself.

  • @MultiSmartass1 Well we do not want it where you daren't even talk about it, its not a phenomenon, it is an important issue and it needs tackling head on. And it's not just down to yourself to make your way in life - everybody has a different start in life depending on your upbringing, this is why education plays such an important role. I think it is naive of you to suggest your country doesn't have a class system, capitalism does create segregation and we shouldn't simply forget it.

  • @themothmanreturns I never stated that the US doesn't have a class structure. Our construct isnt as calcified and ossified as the Brits primarily because of rising and lowering of class due to factors such as education, profession and income. Our system is largely a socio-economic one which it seems England's is slowly becoming. Part of the propaganda function in the states is to exclude talk of class in any specific way.I agree-capitalism does lead to segregation.

  • Errr, middle class, chavs, their both appalling people.

  • Clearly it's be better to be middle class though lol

  • HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

  • 'i would say your working class but you would say your middle class'

    'but i dont work'

i hate how thick chavs are.

  • @LucysDrowning You make me sick.

  • lol pwned

  • I would love to see the rest of this. That was too much!

  • ^ahahahahahahhahahahahahahahah

  • Yes she doesnt work, i agree with that :) Later she is going to ask who Gordon Brown is. that footage would be as double priceless as this one

  • priceless!

  • i think they're quite attractive :)

i thought john prescott came across as attractive too - especially the way he tried to see the best in people who haven't had the lucky breaks most oxford students enjoy!

  • I really hope you're being sarcastic!
