Of course all the money you are taking about what about the billions the big three have made the goverment in tax? Or the 146 billion we will lose over the next three years should they go under. Not to mention the 3 million+ people that rely on both befits and their job from the big three or spin off jobs.
I tend to agree with the general principle that we should let the market / some entrepreneur correct the errors in Detroit, but I'm not sure what the effects of a big 3 bankruptcy would be. I would say that if a bailout is necessary, there need to be requirements attached that prompt innovation (30mpg cars, etc) we have not seen because of the stagnation caused by unions.
China and amny other countries have been allowed to buy more of the USA land, property and companies you'll even know. hell to already own 75% of Washington.
That's why Obama said we all need to start learning different languages.
agree...go with the free market system. also, where you find a lot of money, you will find a crook. why should the american be saddled with debt to fund crooks? as long as the big 3 will accept money, it looks like our government will continue to throw money at it. hmmm...if i were a gambler and i kept losing...but someone would continue to throw money at me, i would continue to gamble until all is gone. something to ponder?
I agree with this young man 100%. The more we bail out companies, the more we are moving away from our free market system, which is the basis of our growth and the backbone of this country. I'm afraid for what the next several years will bring. Corruption and nepotism must end.

Yet in the meantime Wall Street will completely tank and the US will be taken over by China.
