Uh no. It's not industrial metal. It's just industrial. Industrial metal is a bit different falkonx11. Industrial metal is a lot heavier and has more live instruments to carry out that heavier sound. Skinny Puppy and other bands like Einsturzende Neubauten founded the basis for the industrial genre. To hear industrial metal you need to look for bands like Ministry , Powerman 5000, and other bands along those lines. Hope that helps ^__~

They've been my favorite band ever since... Well, after the nightmares stopped lol.

Overall TGWOTR and Mythmaker had some sick songs on it IMO but the new Handover album blows these 2 out of the water. That being said, nothing beats old school Skinny Puppy. Too Dark Park and Last Rights are probably my 2 favorite albums ever (and I see that I said to that kid to look up their 80's stuff and both these albums are from the 90's, hehe).

the whole album is about modern culture and its nihilistic and apathetic lifestyle, thats why his image was of a glammed out rockstar for that album, and as for dope show, ever heard of sarcasm in music? i dont think hes a wanna be bad ass since he was underground for a good 6-7 years before making his antichrist album, which is funny you call him such since dave ogilvie was a co producer on that record with him. so i guess 2 of my favorite bands are wanna be hard asses looking for attention...

i could care less if you hate his music, but calling him untalented just because you dont like him or his music is shit people used to do in 7th grade when i was growing up, im not saying he's the greatest artist thats come out in the past 25 years, but he isnt bad and his songs do have meaning and points in them, you dont have to be a complex lyric writer like orge to make points and have meaning, but imo ogre is better writter then manson tho

But for the record..the ORIGINATOR of the whole Industrial scene, Genesis P. Orridge deserves the credit. Just Skinny Puppy Brang the sound to the western area.

Even if you don't like the music, Skinny Puppy is a pioneer band that set the table for future bands in the genre and at least deserve a little fucking respect. HAve you guys ever seen the DRUMSET they use on stage?!

Wow I seriously hate skinny puppy. In all reality if you see lame break dancers on the street, who the fuck is gonna go have a dance off with them just to prove a stupid point. They're not even goths, they're Cyber industrial crap. True goths listen to bands like Soper aeternous, or Clan of Xymox.
