Of course they do. Studies suggest even rats do also. We the only arrogant species think what we do is too advanced or special to attribute to other animals, as always. As a matter of fact, dogs are more admirable than our destructive evil kind, why wouldn't they dream if we do?
My dog does that too, but my question is, is that possibly the dog falling asleep? If youve ever watched a human fall asleep, they twitch for a few seconds when falling asleep sometimes.
my dear simba lou would dream, her lil legs would just kick like she was running and she would do these soft barks, i would also wake her, mozart dreams to she dont kick but she does make some kinda of noise, the next time mozart dreams i'll record it so ya can see. spirit doesn't do anything when she is sleeping.
Great! I'd like to see that! It was hard for me to get this footage of Qori. Everytime that I would turn on my camera, he'd wake up. I think I tried for a few months before I got it because his nightmares are sporadic.
He has a lot of nightmares. I imagine that they're either about something falling on him or a bigger animal chasing him, because that's what scares him when he's awake.

Jessie dreams....she makes strange noises (not just snoring) and her tail will start thumping really loud!! Hopefully they're good dreams!

Awe poor Qori :( I hope he was just dreaming about trying to run or something. He did look a little upset when he woke up though.
