Mick Jones has a high paid tribute band using the name "Foreigner". Lou Gramm got sick- got cured-got fat,hence Mick parted ways. I think he should just call it a new name,but $ is the reason he keeps it going. Sad.

I'm sorry but to me Foreigener will always be Lou Gramm and Mick Jones, they were the heart & soul of Foreigner! It's very sad that they are even continuing. Like Mick Jones REALLY NEEDS the money!! He should retire or back to producing or writing songs for other artists! Kelly Clarkson Hanson who?? He is no LOU GRAMM (pre-surgery) And as far as hiring Jason Bonham, it's so obvious Mr. Moneybags Jones wanted some name recoginition and the Led Zep fans

Confused indeed. You're right, Owen from Cleveland. It isn't the same. The post-op Lou shows simply weren't that great...fully understandable but that's the truth. The improvement with the new lineup just leaps out at you. But how would you know since you've never even attempted to see them even when they were in your backyard at the Popcorn Festival?

I have. his voice doesn't sound as good as it used to cuz of his brain surgery he had a few yrs ago. Plus, Lou is n2 performing Christian music now and has desire to tour w/ Foreigner. I love Kelly's voice. So ppl should stop bagging on him. I also think Mick Jones has every right to use the band name. After all he, as well as original Foreigner multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald, formed the band.

Well guys...Lou is Lou...he co-wrote the songs..but...if you'd had the chance to be the next frontman for Foreigner..what would you had done?

Kelly Hansen is a great singer..I modestly think that his voice and tone fit perfectly into this kind of music..powerful but still melodic...and he's a good frontman too!

At that point you're probably better off starting a new band. No matter the talent that (unless you're writing new and superior material) is brought into the band, it leaves me feeling like I'm watching a cover band, rather than the real thing. IMO

It's sad that Lou was replaced but the new singer is really awsome. As a long-time Foreigner fan I am amazed that Mick was able to find someone even close to the vocal power of Lou. Bravo!
