Can I ask you something?

Where do you know to put the definition lines for the muscles on the face? I'm having a lot of problems seeing past the fur when I study photographic reference shots. x_x

@NickScholefield Ah, well to be honest they were mostly guessing haha XD I do look at a lot of references, and I know what you mean by not being able to see the definition lines from the fur, there are plenty of Borzoi study sheets on the internet, deviantart especially, and to name a certain artist who has a fantastic Borzoi study which is super helpful-go to Dezzoi on deviantart :3 She's fantastic <3

Out of curiosity..does the size of your canvas effect how clean the line art looks?

Such as a larger image size makes for better lines.
