@gloriakenny VEVO is what allows you to listen music for free. And it won't last. Just think about what happens with megaupload and stuff, and stop being so irrelevant.
This is truly a great amongst 80's/90's songs. I love it and there were so many brilliant songs from this period, too many to list but try wishful thinking by China Crisis to start with.
I play the guitar with a kitchen knife in a middy and skirt and return from a gentle singing voice and a pure musical piece, a miniskirt to the youth when all bread Czira showing it is occasionally sweet-sour..
XooIVisual you are not alone! in 1984 I was 18 years old , this was one of most played song on MTV, I remember when MTV was just made of videos playing 24/7 one hit song after the other non stop, it was great, I am a typical product of the MTV generation, even though pop music was great back then I have no nostalgia for the 80's I much rather go back to the 90's.
When I go to the zoo, the animals sit on their asses and hide in their caves. They must have been told before the filming of this video that they would be on TV. That baby elephant was so ecstatic he jumped over the enclosure to steal the spotlight from Hollis.
This song's awesomeness isn't disputable, but the video's pretty anticlimactic. I imagine the pitch... "Yeah, we're going to go out and shoot some nature footage, some stuff that National Geographic wouldn't use. Every once in a while you'll be standing there with some animal. No, you don't have to do anything. No, you don't have to lip sync. It might be chilly, bring a coat."
Fuck you if saints row the third brought you here this is a true classic . this is more advanced theen a fucking game and im only 15 fuck you two dude...... IT'S MY LIFE! <3
@Dj3lite It is a true classic and I was alive when it originally came out and guess what? Saints Row reminded me and brought me back here. Don't hate on people cause Saints Row brought them here. Be glad they found this no matter how they found it.
@sabrewulfdante i agree, one of my good old bands, i saw them live in a combined concert with sade in the 80's and it was one of the most memoriable things in the world. Did i like her version, yes, but it only made me remeber talk talk
One of the best from the 80's! Way, way far better than No Doubt's version. They had no business or right "attempting" to re-do this song. This song is best left alone. Shame on them!!!!
mickeymousebiker1: You are right on...this sounds A LOT like Roxy Music...when it came out, I thought it was them. I also thought "Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds was Billy Idol when I first heard it.
Maybe this song want to tell os that; Animals have the exact same rights to decide and be masters of their own lives, as humans. But the "human being" constantly stops their own free willing to live, by putting these "wild animals" into these zoos, where they don't have the same development opportunities as in the wild nature, where they actually were ment an born to be/stay.
@LetUsShineTogether Yet, isn't it so beautiful 2 know that our Heavenly Father, known as God; created such a vast yet complex animal kingdom here on earth. Therefore, he also created the most powerful intellectually superior animal, known as "Man" to rule & govern over all the wild beast of this planet. Yet, mankinds biggest problem is not the wildlife of the earth but getting along with his fellow man all over the earth. Think about it?
@omnibusification LOL LOL! Wow, I haven't had a good laugh like dat in a long time. THANKS! That felt really good! But seriously, I didn't say i was religious. Although I'm extremely spiritual. And no, I don't believe a woman was meant 2 serve man either. I realize now that you are simply not on my intellectual level of understanding so i won't press the issue. Now it's my turn 2 joke! How about u go 2 dat zoo u were talkin bout & lock urself up in it & throw away da key, ya stupid bitch!! LOL
This song has always reminded me of something by Roxy Music. This is a great tune, all-around. I had a near-fatal heart-attack on Sept. 3, 2005 (the same day hurricane Katrina made landfall). When I was in ICU, I told the attending cardiologist -- "I'm one tough hombre -- it's my life, don't you forget it."
My sister asked me once to draw a picture for her of a guy on a beach surrounded by starfish. I listened to this song over and over as I worked because it seemed to evoke that feeling. I never saw the video for this until looking up the song here on youtube and was really overwhelmed by the video's imagery.
Es mí vida, un cúmulo de sentires en El Amor... Un saber de El, sin vivirlo en la realidad... Un haber experimentado del Amor, sin ni degustarlo... Algo extraño por lo sabido sin vivir...

Hey everyone, our recently launched music blog has a post about late-era Talk Talk we’re trying to get out there and hope you might enjoy. Just search SongStacks on Twitter.
@jben7070 well I was a kid and in elementary school during 80s and I never got enough about that music. Also becouse of the phenomen that 80s music was spreading very regionally I am still discovering totally unknown artists (to me) in 80s music, 20 years later. Its very usual. For example 2..5 italo and 80s hits were wellknown on every "thebestof" in one state, while on other state they have other "thebestof"). Someons says "best about 80s is that they are over",but I want to be there
Here's a revelation - most pop groups of the 70's and 80's were technically better (beit singing or musicianship) because they were trained musicians. They acutally knew what they were doing. Today we have talentless desspots giving interviews...passing themselves off as musical genuises. I dont believe for 1 second they had any input in the song writing process. I love it when they give heart felt stories saying the lyrics 'came from the heart'. BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT.
@DIGITALSCREAMS I agree. And even though, more and more, the producers and labels started taking over "music" in the late '80s and not looking back, there still was a balance between artistry and commercialism prior to the producer/label takeover. Nowadays that balance is almost 100 percent gone. Whereas the artists back two decades ago and earlier knew how to play instruments, compose music and write good lyrics, newer groups today are just pawns. And the masses buy it up.
@eminemdrehybrid I'm quite lucky that I havent heard most of the copys. the copy about that I have heard and well...leaves me cold. its good if original artists will get their fee about it too still now. :)
@catgirl6717 well, thats original. You can get this understanding becouse how it sounds if not otherwise. Get the whole album of talk talk and check the year. ;-) The newer copycats of this are much shinier and sharper, crisper sounding and louder, also the copys, so that one here is the original becouse its not so "agressively compressed".
"Por incrivél que pareça," estes animais são os maiores respeitadores da natureza e dos seres vivos, mereçem o titulo de animais Racionais, segundo a Lei da selva.
@Soralella71 Yes, it must be awful to see animals living comfortably that would otherwise be facing extinction from poaching, loss of habitat and pest control in other countries. Just enjoy the music dude.
@Soralella71 I agree with you, but if the animals in the wild vanished day by day by some random money lovers, for their fur or whatever, hence animals maybe are safe in the zoo. Of course I'm talking about good zoo, and believe it or not, many animals are having good time in the zoo, and the people working in the zoo the love them.
@oldbbaldone34 I use to say the same thing, then I noticed the problem this generation. Our generation is saturated with accessibility to get your music out there whether is good or not. The good music gets buried under tins of garbage.

@aztralboy parsimony and paranoia do not work good together.
I recommend you stop attributing every meaning of a song to the protest of the illuminati.
what is the illuminati is just a double bluff to diver our attention from the real enemy.
our own government and their anticonstitutional ways of dealing with laws and matters.

@yellow1ops dude wtf are you talking about I just got bombarded by 5 vevo ads, and a vevo mobil bar code right on the side.
advertisements should not be enforced, here is why
1. one big company decides to make money out of our daily use of the internet by claiming copyright trends which are not even legal.
2. Copyright international laws only benefit the contributor, not us.
in radios we hear 15 min of ads, this is not a fucking radio is the internet and should be free of dumb shit like this.

Watching animals in a zoo is one of the most depressing things ever.
Soralella71 1 month ago 60
@Soralella71 when u think about it like that, yep it is.. I'd love to see these clips in nothing but pure nature.. that would be zoo coolll :)

@Soralella71 EVER? It's really depressing that you actually believe that.

the 80's were the last bastiun of talent in the music world.
oldbbaldone34 1 month ago 3
@oldbbaldone34 I use to say the same thing, then I noticed the problem this generation. Our generation is saturated with accessibility to get your music out there whether is good or not. The good music gets buried under tins of garbage.
