@groovygower it's a Canadian accent actually. Besides what other accent would you give him? I can't see Link speaking with a thick Brit accent or something like that. I suppose it depends on where your from given the fact that the most Link has ever said is "Hey" or "Come on".

I think a fairly normal English accent or variations of it would be best suited, not 'cos I'm a Brit but because it's typical of the medieval setting.

However the few times Link has ever had spoken dialogue (the 80's cartoon and the terrible CDI games *shudder) it's always been an American accent, but as I said, it might depend on where your from when it comes to thinking about what sounds natural for a character who normally doesn't speak.

It's definitely not 'cos of where I'm from though... I think that Ganondorf for instance could be suited to a Spanish accent, and I think Samus Aran or the Star Fox team for instance are fine with American sounding accents.

@niftynufty I honestly have no idea, I was working on it very sporadically the whole time I was doing it, so I can't really say how long it actually took. I worked at it on and off for about couple years until I had it to a point that I was happy with. But I would sometimes not touch it for months.

to think of it, TP's link doesn't have a hookshot, but a clawshot instead. i know how they used the idea of a hookshot to make a clawshot but TP link shouldn't know what a hookshot is right?

@deesww yeaaah, I've kinda been using the whole series as a basis for this, but you're right he should say clawshot. I just figured I'd try to appeal to a wider audience. Not everybody is familiar with every game. Up until TP it's always been hookshot.

I'm not going to lie: these interview videos of yours are fantastic! I totally approve of the use of Twilight Princess Link (he's my favorite), and I love the answers that Link gives to the questions. The voice is not quite what I had imagined for Link (if it's yours, I can't blame you), but the animation is stunning - you did it so perfectly! I have to give you a lot of credit for this.

if I could inform link of this, ganondorf is a reincarnation of demise, a demon who tried to kill to first hero of time = link (in skyward sword) and then cursed link and zelda so that for every new link, there would be a reincarnation of demise. (Because both zelda and link lived in the sky) they deciced to stay on the land that you now know as hyrule and yeah thats prety much it so it means link is a decsendant of those link and zelda (most probably).

If you had bothered to check the official art for Twilight Princess you would have noticed the guard is only supposed to be on his left arm (if you're going by the gamecube version that is. it would be flipped on the wii.)
