I'm not convinced that Link Monster is all of its cracked up to be. I checked a few of the blogs that my articles were placed on and all of them only had a page ranking of one. How can any website with such a low ranking carry any serious weight?
I agree it's good that they let you see where you articles have been posted .. rather than having to wait for the pingbacks. Does mean it would be pretty easy to compromise the network though. How have your results been with the Monster? I see you're doing well in the SERPS so far...
