The RTP is NOT part of my editor. I do NOT provide you with any art. YOU create/find your own art. As I said in the video, I'm not the best artist, so I'm using RTP as an example.

I own the full english version of RPG Maker XP, and I do not plan on giving my RTP files to anyone so nothing illegal here, sorry....

Do you know of any game making programs for windows that allow you to make games with all the limits of NES games. Like so you can make an NES game of your own without like modding an existing game or something? Or maybe you could make one like that. Because I have a game I would really like to make using NES technology for Windows.

For Windows, there's GameMaker 7.0 at YoYoGames dot Com. It will let you make NES-style games for windows (Coding Optional). but to make a game to run on the NES is hard, you have to code everything VERY carefully to save space, and to avoid slowdown. NES programmers used alot of low level assembly code... not fun :P

So for RPGs try RPG Maker

For anything else try GameMaker

When I'm done my program you can try it too :)

Yeah thanks, I already use Game Maker for simple experiments and am planning a game for it with my friends. But I just wanted to know if there were any designed to be NES like specifically. I'm glad to know that you're interested in this project. I've still got a lot of work to do before I can post a Beta version for you to download, but I will be posting a second video soon (showing how the editor can be used together with C#). I'd love to hear any suggestions for features you would like to see in the editor.
