what' up brian... can you send me the dimensions of the triangle? i'm trying to make my own. the base is 36" and the height is???any assistance would be greatly appreciated. also the overlap borders are what 3"?? thanks man
hey brian i jus checked out some of ur videos man and im really glad i came across them ur videos are very informal and useful, i didnt even know about scrim kings but im deff gonna look for them and order them.. and your light set up is wicked man. keep up the good work..
Any products that cover all (3) sides of a speaker stand? I'd light to do the poor mans totem thing out on the dance floor, but covering only one side is sort of pointless. and three scrims is pretty expensive and still doesn't completely cover the stand. Brilliant ideas are much appreciated.
are you kidding? only covers the front for $65?! what about the gap at the bottom? what does it look like from the side? dj setup is 3D - people don't just stand in front and stare at it. people are crazy to spend that much on one piece of lycra, it doesn't even look very classy.
I contacted Scrim King. The speaker stand covers are $65 each! Even though I love the concept and think they are very cleverly designed, this seems quite expensive for a piece of spandex?
@MegaCallum98 I've been sending everyone to the website listed in the discription to the right of this video. Contact Scrim King and they can help you out :)
I like the product, and thanks for the video, Brian! But I don't kniw why its called "Scrim King." A scrim is sharktooth patterned fabric you can see through for use in hteatrical productions. Just weird word choice I guess.
I Agree Soon As Your Done The Gig You Wants To Just Pack Everything Up Quick And Just Leave Not Having To Waste Time Taking Things Down but you have to make your system look neat awesome video those
nice product i should have been hanging around for the intros! VOSSSSIIIIIII ha but that is a very easy nice solution and not messy like some i have seen. Like the idea of backlighting and will be doing something like this in the near future!
I saw a cool layout for a wedding in a hall...two speakers either side of the DJ and then smaller ones on stands mid way through the hall where the dinner tables were. Because these speakers are far from the DJ and to keep up with presentation would it be a good idea to cover all 3 sides of the stand? Or would you just scrap the extra speaker? Cheers!
@DJTinyDJServices all you have to do is follow the link in the upper right corner under Brians picture. Then look for the contact number and call them in Canada place the order and bam there yours :)
I've been using similar skirts like those for years now and find that they're terrific for using with pars lit behind and they're great for hding wires ... makes your rig look neat and tidy.
The company is minutes from me in Woodbridge Ontario, so if anyone finds it difficult to order on-line, let me know and I'll help you out.
I have a pair of the white ones - they are nice to hook up and I put LED lights behind them. TIp for everyone - go to a local hardware store and you can get a small round band you can put on the stand with a turn screw built in - then you can screw that on and hang the scrim king on that!
@DJLOUIEMIX oh damn louie, that would be tight. i was wondering wtf these were. i thought they were from djskirts, but they didnt look like the ones they have on their site. i'm buying a pair of these puppies right now!

Hey Brian! Great review about this product for those who like Speakerstand/Truss covers.
I rather see a speakerstand or truss without any cover ups but that's just my opinion.
Great Job! keep them comming ;)

Right, 2 sided will be enough to cover the left and the right and have one of the poles pointing to the front.
