Tragically, Mandy died on November 15, 2008 (age 17) when the car she was riding in lost control, crossed the center line and colliding with an oncoming vehicle.

Looks like she was in the car with an idiot who wasn't paying attention. Too bad the driver didn't die instead of her. Isn't that how it always happens? The person that should die never does.

I pulled up to the toll both in gardiner today. The attendant told me my toll had been paid by the car ahead of me, then he handed me a card. a "random act of kindness". I thought maybe it was some kind of joke, But now that I have seen that isn't, I wish it was. I am so sorry for loss. She sounds like she was a special person. Mandy was my daughter - she was sweet, helpful, had the biggest smile and the goofiest picture face.
