I just got this for my daughter. All she needs is youtube and the ability to speak to her grandparents on youtube. No dice with this tablet. No way I can get the video calling to work in skype. Also, the process to get the library to work doesnt seem to work for me on the latest firmway. Applib seems very limited.

@luvebug21 @arctablet It's pretty bad quality, just good enough for video chat. See the Arnova 10 (first gen) review on Arctablet, there are picture samples taken from the video cam. Reason for such a cam is probably maximum cost cutting even tough it does not make much sense to have such a low resolution/quality cam these days ;(

@Tommydudez You will find the music credits at the end of the video. The Arnova 7" at 99 USD is probably the first generation model, with resistive screen, slower CPU, Android 2.1.

Bought one just before Xmas, flashed the latest custom firmware to it ( increases the internal storage to 460MB ), works like a dream, especially when you consider the the single core CPU. I wouldn't pay full RRP ( paid about half from HMV UK ). If thinking about paying full RRP for this, don't. Go for the ASUS Transformer much better spec for roughly the the same money. If you go down HMV UK and they are sill doing deals on the 10G2, by it and flash it to get the full Andy Market.

@JamelaIsHere If it's mainly for playing non HD videos, a lower model such as the Arnova 10 or Arnova 10b (slower CPU) may be sufficient. The Arnova 10 G2 will get you support for HD content. Check Arctablet Blog for more information on these devices. Regarding the song info, you will find it in the credits at the end of the video.

I just download a applib, arctools 0.57, but i cant download a youtube, google maps, and other stuff by using the arctools. It gives me error 28 and error 20. I read that this problem because of 2.3.1 android (it supports only 2.2 and 2.1 ???) ?

@cleaneraz09 Nope, the problem is you need a custom firmware to let Arctools write its files for the system. Check arctablet blog / forum for the Arnova 10 G2 custom firmware. It's very easy to install.

The exact screen size is still to be measured, but you can get an estimate from the device case size + knowing the 10 inches screen diagonal.
