Ryder losing the Title was too soon but now he can chase the title. Him losing to Swagger on three Doctor Bombs showed Ryder, while hurt, was fighting back and Swagger would have to do it to win the title. It would of killed Ryder to lose on one powerbomb. It isn't ratings why he lost the title, WWE is using that Cena and Ryder as friends in the Kane storyline which is terrible until Cena faces Rock at Wrestlemania. I would not be shocked to see Kane vs. Zack Ryder at Mania.

I for one think Ryder losing the title to Swagger like this was a great idea, when Zack became United States champion everybody was super excited and happy for him... That was because of his journey from not being on TV at all to start to get on TV and then to finally win the title against Dolph Ziggler. Then he became Champion... what then? He wasn't ready for the WWE Championship, he would lose momentum if he was to just defend it week after week. This whole Kane/Eve thing will be a huge->
