YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! I've been flying since before I was born (Mom was 8 months along with me when she got her pilot's license). Ever since I can remember, the F-15 has been my be all, end all, favorite fighter jet!!! Even now, with the F-22, I'd still choose to fly the F-15......I always knew it was 1972 when the "Eagle" was born.....but never knew it was June 26th! That's the day I was born!!....Destiny......

the f-15 is replaced by the f-22 raptor but i think still the f-15 strike eagle is the best and the fastest fighter jet in the world.And the f-15 is bigger than the f-22 raptor Piet.

i dont think its a good idea to retire these f-15c's , i know they got beat in red flag by su-30 mki's but that dont mean shit those f-15 pilots are the best of the best ,they should just upgrade the avionics an put better air to air waeapons on them.

@homboy107 getting "beaten" in red flag doesnt mean shit, they dont train there to test planes, they do that to train the pilots in many different senarios and most of them puts a squadren in a better position then another. In red flag F16s shot down F15s and F15s shot down F16s and alot of other combanation. The only person that would say that a plane is better then another because of red flag or other training cources is a retard or extreamly biast to one side.

Nice history. As an Eagle Keeper and instructor, brings back interesting memories. Hope we can maintain the economic viability to continue with engineering superiority. Cutting the F22 might be a bad omen, if you see what I mean.
