The combination of George and Helen is intoxicating! I have been listening to these song since the 80's and I always thought she was black... wow what a voice that girl has! My absolute favorite is still "Black Money" though.
exuse me but I am a teen and I hate the crappy music around at the moment! Don't be so sterio typical not all teens like 'modern music' and hate all 70's and 80's music! Don't be so quick to judge get to know us first
I pity mainstrem youth today who are force-fed a diet of homophobic sludge through absolute shite music - from the mid 70's to mid 80's music - fashion - attitude & youth culture was amazing - what with everything that was happening -
no wonder youth to day are so uptight/bland/conservative today when their heros are talentless tossers themselves - Great Vid I remember seeing this on TOTPs
@anthonynewsome Yeah same here, I hate the music these days, and basically never listen to it. I'm a proud 16 year old 80's fan, and Culture CLub and Boy George mean everything to me even more than my family right now.
@Anskapontsu good for you - CC are reforming in 1212 with a major tour n new CD - George is also in an upcoming movie where he plays a cop - he is also DJing & joining the Here&Now tour - peace
@anthonynewsome Ummm, I'm a 16- year-old girl and my life depends on the 80's. I hate the music coming out right now on the radio. I'm proud to be a Culture CLub and Boy George fan at this stage in my life. Not everyone hates the 70's-80's.
@Anskapontsu Oh dear I feel the same. I'm 19 growing on 20 now, and sometime I just feel like "I miss the 80s". But how can I miss the 80s when I was born in the 90s? LOL. The 80s is the best, best, best in music, movie, art, everything and anything. I LOVE THE 80S!
George was doing what every gender bender wished he could do and get away with it. It was a remote dream for most of us, back then. Inwardly, George was fearless. His impact was enormous.
oh my God, this was right BEFORE they were famous in the USA! Hard to believe. Right after this is when CC hit #1 spots in USA in 83.I remember all this well I was only 21 when CC was at their height. Good stuff!!
They were just so awsome and exciting, they were the among the best bands of the 80s, I seen them in 1984, Waking up tour alas it was over then, but this era, was their best.
oh my!! boy george really has changed and so has his voice...ppl in my sckool call him a girl but they are all losers...i love u boy george then and now <3
i agree take it like a man is a great book. as i read the book i come to you tube looking for people and performances mentioned in his book. I love you george!!!
Helen Terry is adorable, Jon is actually grinning and having fun.. but George, George, is heartmelting! Only halfway through did I realize they were singing Church-I was too caught on his eyes, smile and (adorably cute) dance!
Only half way did I notice that he was singing church of the poison mind. His eyes.. capture me completely!

Boy George was the ultra cool kid on the block along side his partner-in-crime, the beautiful Marilyn. Very inspiring indeed!

Jon Moss broke my heart! :(
Seriously, I read 'Take It Like a Man' and then I cried because Jon cheated on George.
I'm pathetic :D
