Hate to say it but I think the original kicks the shit out of this version. Vortex has never been that awesome a vocalist, and hes singing out of his league in this version of this track. A lot of added in harmony areas which don't work at all.

the only i dislike about Vortex - and it's the ONLY thing i dislike - is how for example there are multiple vocal tracks, and obviously (for example with Dimmu Borgir) live he has to choose one of them to sing or do a funny mix of them...and everyone knows the higher/est one is the prominent melody - but he never sings it! If it's not remotely replicable live, i say don't do it

Vortex has one interesting thing that many people envy or shout of jealousy; that is a simple thing: he has an extraordinary voice, and he DOESN'T process his voice, he just like to add a second voice along with the first. That is, two voices that make a building shatter down from it's power.
