@Esmerda I noticed that as well, but it only seems to be the case with Lila the unicorn and not the normal horses. If you look closely at the horse Odette's sister Mary is riding at the beginning of the movie, you can see that its tail is actually tied into a bun. Riders tie or braid the horse's tail sometimes to prevent tangling or keep it out of the mud. =)
Anyone notice that Odette's dress is the exact one from Rapunzel.... except this one's blue?
