  • this made my core STONG AND POWERFUL

  • are you going to fight in Vietnam?

  • cemera automatic folow

  • Thanks I think I need to start focusing more on core strength. I use tension ropes for the main shoulder workouts (sideways, forwards, "hands up" etc), static ab training and this shit called "hip-hop abs", which works really well, and a hell of a lot of pressups, but I heard recently that without paying attention to core strength you can injure yourself a lot easier doing standard strength work before core training. Already got a fucked up shoulder from years back, n thats enough for me haha

  • what's name creed's song?

  • @080itech00

    Torn

  • swingstrengthener. com

  • that is supposed to build "awesome core strength"? You must be joking.

  • @kenfo0 ''metabolic core workout'' -- its a fat burner and also builds core.

  • @DdotRedd please, don't be silly. I quoted the vid. This nonsense does not build "awesome" core strength. "metabolic core workout" is simply more pollution being spewed into the world's verbiage heap. It will be buried and lost soon, hopefully.

  • @kenfo0 explain? i get what your trying to say. but to me this work out looks a decent workout for beginers to build core strength. (i understand there are far better stuff to do, but for no equipment w'o this seems ok)

  • @kenfo0

Clay Guida the UFC fighter works out the this system YOU FUCKING IDIOT.

Look him up, he fights at Lightweight, 155 pounds, and has THE BEST cardio and core strength IN THE UFC.

So spew that garbage right back down your throat bitch.

  • @Breakneckhydra1 Super fruity homosexuals coined the usage of calling a male a bitch. Speaks volumes about who/what you are, faggot. Run along now nancy.

  • 1:15 workout...its a pain

will this over time give me definition all over?

  • @NoosesGive most likely your just not use to the ab and shoulder workout the elbows however should not be hurting. the elbows hurt because of the floor

  • @bornonice87 thanks for getting back to me... you were right, this week im fine, strengthening up! elbows still hurt though, might have to wear elbow pads hahah.. im a wimp!

  • cool shyt

  • I think I'll stick with the classic situps :D

  • @popsticky09 that will only do your abdominals. These are for the core. These exercises are really hard, give it a try.

  • send movie abs obliquo(the more advanced, extreme)...thanks

  • Damn those Ninja Get Ups are difficult.

  • i would do it at home but dont think i will do it at the gym:P

  • is it 15 reps in total or of each exercise? 15 forward backward crawl is pretty hard

  • looks like Matt Damon

  • haha people will laugh if i do this at the gym xD but still good (Y)

  • @bubbax9 I guess it's the type of excercise u can do at ur home... not gym, gym has other .. gadgets

  • because the gym is full of fat overweight pussyes which think that when they have big hands they are the real shit! I bet they cant do this! Fuck the bodybuilders they cant even stand their own weight and do any advanced push ups or military workouts

  • @bubbax9 Sure they laugh but when they see your progress and achievements they get jealous, It happened to me.

  • THE BEST AB WORKOUT ever

  • great track!

  • that last one ive found very helpful. i believe its called the plank

  • nice routine thanx for sharing

  • Very nice combination of exercises.

  • drink a lot of water and do situps huh u must be a bad boxer had to many knocks to ur head to say what u said u crak ed water and situps hahahahaha

  • hes not that one that can't even speak normal english... or type..

  • good stuff!

  • actually u wanna do ur core last, its legs, upper and core..from biggest muscles 2 smallest, always..ur still activating ur core of course when u r doing legs and upper, so u dont wanna tire it out first or ur risking injuries

  • Not sure if thats correct either. I generally do core first at least 300 reps, some with weights, some without. Then I add additional core excercise between my workouts to keep the heart elevated. If my stomach core hasn't been worked enough at the end I get someone to slam a med ball in my mid section enough to wind me with each hit. I feel stronger doing core then weights.

  • r u a personal trainer or expert in that field? not trying 2 get confrontational, im just wondering who im talking 2, thats all...as fitness experts we all have our own views on what works or doesnt...take some and leave some..thats my opinion...again, i was talking about the order of doing ur body parts, not using weights versus doing core excercises..u should incorporate a lil of everything in ur routine, i think..not sure bout slamming med ball n ur stomach tho..lol :)

  • I wouldn't say I'm an expert in the field but I get trained by former and current international fighters. I train for Muay-Thai and BJJ which might explain a bit of where I'm coming from. I used to do everything in an orderly fashion. But there is no order in the ring. 1 second your taking shots to the head the next to the body. Monday I was hit 200 times in the stomach (punches, kicks) before I started lifting weights, did burpees between sets, sprints after weights and then sparring.

  • some people arent just looking for abdominal strength or appeal but an overall core building circuit..... ie hockey players....

  • why do people strenghten there core?

  • gives you better balance and works those deep muscles and if you plaing to work out start with the core, legs and the upper body legs are improtatant so you in proportion

  • The muscles of the trunk (or core as people like to call them, or worse yet 'abs') are responsible for linking your limbs, transmitting power and stabilising your whole body, especially the spine. Any movements tax the trunk and without healthy and strong trunk muscles its often the case that people develop back problems and postural problems. The best way to strengthen, however is to use resistance (bands, plates, dumbells etc) and low repetitions like 5x5 for example.

  • awesome video, showed me some nice new exercises

  • Hey, great exercises. This vedoe makes them look easy....but for me they are a struggle hehe.

    Cheers

  • nice exercises. they were harder than i thought ^^

  • excellent....yr video gives me idea to add variety to my daily training!

  • excellent form

  • Nice exercises. The only role that genetics play in achieving a six pack is whether your abdominal muscles line up perfectly. Anybody can obtain a six pack with the right eating style and exercise style; fat people just use the 'genetics' thing as an excuse to continue being sedentary.

  • I agree.

  • Genetics play a role as well for a "six pack". But the goal here is to work the entire core for good health and aid for sports participation. The "six-pack" mentality is for the beach. The order for working the abdominal area of the core is crucial...always lower ab first, followed by obliques, then upper abs. The upper abs are involved in many core activities, exhausting them first will not allow you to max on the others sections to the fullest. This workout is okay, there are better ways.

  • in my opinion, abdomens is just another muscle group that can be trained most successfully by focused weight training. The core workouts in the vid involes too many muscle groups. Abdomenwise, these work outs are not the most efficient.

  • Thats untrue. Abdominaly are a small muscle group which are located behind the area of the body where in males fat is deposited first. Therefore you want to do exercises that burn the most caleries to see the gains in that area fast, i.e. leg exercises (biggest muscles in body) cardio etc. When burning fat it comes off in reverse, face neck, back, bum, legs, then stomach. Thats why it takes long to see the 6pack

  • this video is about increasing core strength aka ab muscle strength, not getting a six pack.

yes we all know getting a sixpack consists of 3 parts: cardio, diet, and working the ab muscles. Sprinting is best for reducing fat, and focused weight training is best for increasing ab muscle. These core exercises are half-baked for both purposes.

  • the core of your body isnt just your abs. thats just one plane. you also have the sides and lower back which all are apart of the core. When he is doing the planks to full pressup position thats still a core exercise as he has to keep his core locked throughout to maintain balance and correct posture.

So for what it is (core strength video) its a perfectly good workout.

I seem to think your missing the point that core ISNT just abs, that can be the only reason for your first post.

  • and i was only commenting on how a sixpack is quicker achieved because u were basically saying that this isnt the right way to go about it, "Abdomenwise, these work outs are not the most efficient", "abdomens is just another muscle group that can be trained most successfully by focused weight training".

unlike other muscle groups they have the inconvenience of being placed behind the main part of the body where fat goes. so u cant just work them "like another muscle"

  • im just giving my 2cents. cauz weighted situps (with no back support, the one u do on the dip bars) is how i got my 6 pack. Focused weight training stimulate muscle fatigue before u run out of breath. All im saying is "Abdomenwise, these work outs are not the most efficient" and i stick by my point: abs can be trained like anyother muscle, using focused weight training.

in my opinion, you do the cardio and weight training separately and u get the best both both worlds.

  • ye i can see what your saying and i do agree you should go focused ab work also. By no means does core training substitute cardio or ab workouts. This is just another method of exercise that would be run alongside your routines.

at the moment im doing this on my rest days or as a form of warmup for the workout ahead, just to keep my body guessing and to keep it interesting for myself.

  • if thats really what u think then ur abs will never reach their full potential. these workouts involve a lot of muscle groups because those make up your core. nd actually these are really good for ur abs.

  • nice. it's a functional fitness revolution. i'm talking caveman, pyramid building strength from the core. right there with ya brother. GO HARD OR GO HOME.

  • hey thanks so much! great vid by the way

  • Metabolic training is the way to go! truly extreme when you incorporate weights into your routine. by the way, great form! kicking up the reps for each exercise will burn those calories!

  • indeed, its heavy

  • its a killer workout

  • its the most amazing workout that i ever had.

it looks easy but it isn`t.

  • I've been a trainer for over 8 years and have a very strong core, but that combination of moves killed me. Nice!

  • Do you know where to get kettle bells from?? Im from Townsville nth qld and I cant find any in the martial arts stores or sporting outlets??

  • great stuff

  • LOL what exactly makes this metabolic?

  • Oh man, I looked at the video and thought: I can do that. Well, I couldn't... It looks easier than it is. Good video, thanks.

  • This is such a good video.

    Those knee tucks are incredible!

  • thanks for posting mate.

  • gotta love know it alls.... his movement looks pretty funtional. but yours is probably better right?

  • yes this will help you strengthen your core. core is much needed for certain track and field events also.

  • excellent. good technique and good transition from exercise to exercise

  • I did it yesterday at the gym with my instructor and it felt like hell but i can really feel my whole core working, we partnered the workout with the Core & Shoulder Training also by synergy. Very effective than doing simple side bends and bridges!

  • It looks great. Awesome moves. Nice body.

  • i totally understand this type of workout session and i can fully comprehend the meaning behind each movement...lot of good it does me in the real world ! my trip doesn't trek this way. as much as i admire and respect these vids and where they are heading, i cannot begin to know when i would ever be able to commit to even one of them. i have a physical lifestyle as it is and i can only hope God is naturally putting me thru the moves i will need to sustain me when the going gets rough.GOOD VID!

  • Thanks

  • @synergyfitnessinc i still like this vid's message 2 years later. now i got a pacemaker(because of S.S.S) and they said i'll be even better and can keep my lifestyle activities . surfing/climbing ladders/toting flats up ropes/yardwork/shovel digging/sledge&ax swinging etc.etc.keep it up.i love your work.

    AFFA, IFPA, ACE

    Trainer Brian Jay (NY !)

  • Great workout for your core.

  • 1) How is the egg roll even an exercise? Virtually no effort is required to even do this move.

    2) Ditto on the ninja get up. Why do you even call it that? I doubt ninjas get up that way.

    3) The side V up is ok, but I would still rely on regular crunches and saxon side bends for oblique work.

    4) Does anyone here honestly believe any of these are forceful enough to cause overload and elicit adaptive changes?

  • You crack me up!

Yes ninjas usually do a back flip to get up but this is for beginner ninjas. Try the workout the whole way through. I promise you will feel your core!

  • Tit.

  • That was in response to KaseyAkira the typical knobjockney youtube negative "I know everything" tossbag.

Great little sesh. Gonna add this to the end of my S&C and technique sessions.

  • 1) You're a dick

    2) Get a life

    3) I bet you're 180kg's and eating a pie as you type

    4) Try the workout and see before commenting.
