  • waaaaaaaay to much reverb

  • Is this the mexico model or american vintage '72?

  • im surprised these guys are still in business

  • Tip - If you're going to get one of these amps get the Tweed version which has a superior Jenson speaker in it (and looks way cooler too). I got one and it's fantastic. A real keeper.

  • These are a few of my favourite things..

  • It's a U shaped neck...

  • How does this compare to the thinline deluxe?

  • you look like mike mccready

  • wow, valve watts are twice as loud as transistor watts, better get my GCSE electronics book out again.

  • Which is better for jazz and blues :

Princeton ri, Blues junior III or Hotrod III?

  • Im sure "all tube" means more than its volume?

  • how much is the fender vm of 40w at your store thanks...great guitar I am the proud owner of one fender thinline 72

  • man, sweet amp, I love a fender tube amp more than anything

  • 0:47 DAAHH!!!!

  • really helpfull thx

  • To be honest, i've had this beaitufl guitar for a year and a half now. im a blues player, and if your looking for that blues sound, this isnt what your looking for. this tele gives a much more warm, bright sound. if your going for blues, to suit this junior amp, then go with the strat. i will say that this fretboard is wonderful to play on, easy to glide over, lower the action and you've got yourself one fast fretboard. love the amps clean sound, might come in and get one ;)

    cheers

  • "It also cleans up very nice"

Dude fenders known for the clean and reverb. If your buying a Fender tube amp, expect a good clean tone.

  • I have this guitar. I love it but there's a lot of buzz going on. I just use a small, crappy CRATE amp that someone gave me for now, so I think that probably has a lot to do with it. Since it's hollow I think with a normal, crappy electric guitar amp it would produce buzz...but if anyone knows anything about this please let me know...

  • this is the one tele i am missing that i have always wanted..two months I am thinkin...tax return money..lol

  • @Musicjuicebox DUDE SAME!! beautiful guitar, but her sister the 2 tone sunburst is also gorgeous

  • Hi, I was wondering is it possible to change the widerange pickups of this 72 tele to normal humbuckers? I was thinking of changing it to a bare knuckle nailbomb humbucker. Any thoughts?

  • Yeah it's possible. You'll need a new pick guard, as the wide range pickups are larger than standard humbuckers. It'll probably a little darker sounding with standard humbuckers as well.

  • If you've got an original Tele 72, I'll murder you for doing that. Except if you give them to me... But seriously the original widerange pickups are the most wonderfull pickups in the universe....

  • Hahaha. Dont worry dude. Its a mexican reissue. So changes should be fine right? ;P

  • *big sigh of relief* Yeah, then it's alright P:

  • THANKS JOHNNY ONLINE.

    YOURE THE MAN

  • which Cranbourne store is this?

  • this review is terrible I just can't hear the guitar! the player is terrible

  • turn your volume up, that might help

  • do you think you're smart? I just said that playing like that I can't hear the real sound of the guitar..

  • The real sound of the guitar? He's running the line directly to the amp, what you hear is what that guitar sounds like. Well, what it sounds like in a video. What it sounds like in person, you're just gonna have to sit with it yourself. But that's true with any musical equipment, regardless of the quality of the audio in a youtube video.

  • i have a solid deluxe 3 pickup tele with this amp and its sounds awesome

  • Just bought a '72 thinline reissue on eBay with 500k pots...can't wait to get it next week!

  • reverb whore!! great amp though ... makes me jealous ....

  • I've got this amp.....but in the tweed version....believe the only difference from the one in the vid is that the tweed has an upgraded speaker...Jensen I think.....have to look, been a while...great amp though (I play a les paul through it)

  • it sounds so much nicer clean. . the drive is prettyh= horrible

  • that's probably because fender overdrive sounds horrible. I bet it would sound good with a good pedal.

  • this is a great combination

  • wtf i thought that was the verison guy

  • What pickups would you recommend fitting in that thinline peterm3964?

  • Well a genuine early 70's widerange would be Ideal , but seeing as they are sooo rare , maybe a paf , or a seth lover . or a mike brierley custom , or a jason lollar imperial , .

  • Is this in relation to the fact it's intended purpose is for country music/blues if I dare say so... If I was to get the '72 remake it'd be more for contemporary rock and I was wondering whether those suggested pickups would suit that style also, thanks btw for your help

  • The tone is in the instrument ,

THE MUSIC IS IN YOU you could pick up a jazz guitar and the music would be your music . I could pick up a tel e, a strat , or a GIBSON, and the tone wiould vary , But the music would be ME .

Some instruments suit different styles , but you can play ALMOST any music on any guitar .

The mdern widerangs pickups are TERRIBLE If you choose a custom pickup , DO CHECK the string spacing is right .

  • well i own this guitar and its possibly one of the greatest sounding guitars for all different sounds ive ever heard.

  • you guys are awsome. you are the est shop close to pakenham, and when I save up 2 and a half grand, I am sooo buying that fender supersonic directly to your left in the clip. then after that i amy buy a standard american tele, or depending on how long i want to wait to save up, maybe a strat. (strats are cheaper at your store, why?)

    thanks,

    John

  • That's great to hear! Look forward to seeing you in the store. We deal with a lot of Fender and that means we can make a great deal on any Fender products you're after.

  • ok, yea, a came in a while ago and played a metelic silver strat through the supersonic, sounded great, you guys should do a review on the supersonic and a standard american tele :)

  • Hey so what Amp was this? this is perfect for what I need

  • It's a Fender Blues Junior. Not to be confused with the Pro Junior, which despite the name, is actually a simpler amp.

  • @tjgale89 IT SAYS IT IN THE TITLE

  • The name wasn't in there when the video first came out douchbag!

  • sounds good mate:)
