96's Arashi no Saxophone is probably my favorite, but Cool Jam follows straight on its heels. The amount of cool and the saxophone absolutely kills in this piece. 99's right after that. Having now heard the XIII's Arashi no Saxophone 5, I'm trying to determine where to slot that one - it surprised me with how good it was. There seems to be one thing true with all of Iori's themes - the sax totally makes the music.
I didn't care much for Sadistic Eyes (Arashi no Saxophone 3) and Stormy Scream (Arashi no Saxophone 4) and Undying Mirror just SUCKED. I love all of Iori's other themes though, including this one.
I disagree with you. "Cool Jam" is the best song out of all his themes. And the best Arashi no Saxophone. Second best is No.V and 3rd best is the original.
But that is still just my pionion, and everyone is free to express theirs I guess, Mr Crimson!
