I remember partying with Al one night about 30 years ago - 2 Canadians traveling through Dixie and he showed us the Blue Bird.

We were reflecting on the timelessness of good music and Al said to me:

"If I sat down today and wrote "Yesterday" and gave it to my publisher tomorrow it would still be a hit today"

All I could think was... wow... lol unintentional poetry
