fantastic!! I remember that fantastic game, I played a lot when I was a child! the sound is better and different from by old IBM PC during the early 1990s
I think the reason why I went on and got my motorbike license, bought all the gear and bought a bike is the music of this video. This is true BTW. I really think so deep down. :D
Great game, first one the offered first person view in a motorcycle racing sim. Also the first one the let you experience a crash in first person view! XD
Amiga...Blast from the past...Pmsl listen to it loading the game up...And the bikes the 125cc bikes the same size as the 500cc bike wtf...Used to love my Amiga thought it was the best thing in world and look where we are now...Nice video dude thanks for the memorys...
From your comments you seem to love this game. I do too. XD Can't remember Travis Daye was he the aggressive one? Anyways, on another of Accolade's game Grand Prix Circuit, there's one aggressive driver named Bruno Gourdo. Remember him? He rams other cars off the road, lol.
It was Don Lee, with the number 88 bike. He was the toughest opponent in 500cc. I played with this game today :D:D. However it is old, but i still enjoy it, and try to beat my best laps all the time :D
I had never heard of this game at all. And i'm a dos nut, i've been playing pc games since 96 and i have over 70 dos games that i play pretty often. I downloaded it a little while ago, it's an awesome game. Thanks!
I remember this, this game was so cool, the first time I played it was on an orange monochrome monitor, It was so exciting when I first played it in colour lol
Yeah 80's Accolade racing games were really that exciting back then. I played Test Drive 1 & 2, Grand Prix Circuit & this on just 4 color CGA IBM XT and it was already so fun! We weren't able to afford an EGA card back then so I can only dream playing TD on 16 colours XD. Now almost 20 years later, I can play them on an Amiga emulator with almost VGA colours along with realistic sounds, I also feel like I'm playing it first time in full color even after 2 decades lol.
Nigel is a prat and woke Grampy up at 1am in 1991 by reving his Honda 700 in the back garden at Tetbury Street.Grampy told him off by taking the key out then he dragged Nigel off the bike and locked it the garage then told Nigel to get to bed. What a naughty man Nigel was.
Jesus christ, what a retard you are. There's many ways of spelling "WOW", some prefer "wauw" some prefer "wow" (mostly World of Warcraft geeks), and others (like myself) prefer "wouw". Dont teach me about english you imbecil!
I dont even think you can find the word "wow" in a dictionary.
indeed, but read closely "even if you" that means you are also a retard :) A loosing retard, and ill rather be a winning retard than a loosing retard.
Very good racer from Accolade/DSI, I had it when I was (very) young. This is kind of a sequel to Grand Prix Circuit (loved it too, very similar but with F1 cars this time).
There was another excellent bike racer game on the Amiga, that was RVF Honda.
Like I said before to each is own. I can't correct you if you're a hardcore Genesis fan XD just as you can't correct if I think the Genesis is inferior to the Amiga IMO ;)
i watched this video when i was half asleep so i didn't here the noises at the beginning. where do they come from? (i've never seen an amiga).
about inferiority (if there's any word like that), i say the amiga sux cos all the games i've seen on it are inferior compared to the same games on the genesis. am i wrong?
What games? All you saw is Test Drive II and even that pwns your Genesis version in terms of Graphics, number of tracks & cars but you seem to never understand it...or you can't accept it?
Hey Sup Shady dude lol ur back! This is not a console but an Amiga computer emulator & there is an option to turn on or off the floppy sound effects. It's just there for nostalgia effect ;) Sorry if it bothered you I'll turn it off now, hehe...
well, my dad's old PCs never made that kind of noise so one can say the amiga was manufactured from substandard materials. that, my friend, makes the genesis superior to your noise-making miga.
Oh sorry I forgot to mention, you can also adjust the volume of the floppy sound from the emulator, a definite plus feature of retro coolness emulation;) Of course if you think it's actually that loud, then nothing shouts more n00b of you than that. XD In case you don't know too, any cartridge based system doesn't make any noise whilst reading.
lol. yeah, no cartridge-based console makes noise. that fact buttresses my point that the miga is in fact, inferior to the genesis cos the miga manufacturers found it too expensive to use a HDD system. they had to settle with what they could afford which was substandard.
my last comment is a testimony to what alcohol can do to anybody. i was long gone down the road when i wrote that, i'm really surprised i was able to type without making any errors. the period btwn the original genesis & the dreamcast was one of terrible failure for SEGA, no argument on that. how would you compare the sales of the genesis & the miga?
Oops, there will be a flame war if i declare that either is better than the other XD
Genesis used ROM's, anyway it was called Sega Megadrive in Europe. Amiga loaded games from floppy at its time, because hdd were too expensive and difficult to install games which were meant to play from floppy. (needed to set the loading paths to hdd with utilities, etc.)

If I were you I'd do a research sport ;) Amiga being a computer of course it has a HD. It's pointless debating with you since;
1.You think a floppy noise is THAT loud
2.You don't research & just assume the Amiga have no hard drive & jump to baseless conclusions.
3.What's next you gonna say? That Genesis is better becos it has the 32x & Sega CD expansion systems that flopped? XD
With these points of yours I find it unnecessary to even prove how more simple & better the Miga is. The End ^_^
superallye 4 years ago
my last comment is a testimony to what alcohol can do to anybody. i was long gone down the road when i wrote that, i'm really surprised i was able to type without making any errors. the period btwn the original genesis & the dreamcast was one of terrible failure for SEGA, no argument on that. how would you compare the sales of the genesis & the miga?
