I used this for the label on a guitar headstock. I wetsanded the clear undercoat smooth. Then I applied the label and let it cure for a couple of days. Then I slowly built up very thin layers of clear on top. Too heavy of a coat will cause the label to curl up as the finish hardens. Once I had a week's worth of 1-2 misted coats per day, I began to build up several thick layers. Then wet sanded the surface smooth. It's worked out quit well, just long and involved.
Also, the company has a water slide inkjet paper that I may try with the next project. On their website gallery, it looks like they have another customer who uses the water slide transfers for instruments.
@f1br30p7ix This paper has not really been designed to be over coated with a varnish. If possible we would suggest using our water-slide decal paper as an alternative. You can use a varnish or similar protective coat over the top of this paper without it causing any issues to the image itself.
i been looking for something like that for that kind of paper. when i print the letter will come backwords and i been looking everywhere. but i heard u cant use that kids of paper in shirts will u help me?
I've been hunting all morning for this kind of info. Your film has been extremely helpful! I'm heading on over to your website! Warmest wishes your way!
