Just t o everyone be warned that if you go for him, make sure you have the mach bike. the entryway may not be on the flood level, but up the sloped area that requires the mach bike to get up. thats how I caught him. I was lucky and had the bike from the bike shop keeper the whole time

@NooBHatteR112 actually its easier to get a shiny legendary than any other pokemon, as their stats arent determined until you battle them, all you have to do is save in front of them and keep starting a battle until you find it shiny. takes forever, but it's doable. chances are 1/8192 just like anything else

@ar20h yes it is, you need to look up game mechanics. every tile in the game that has wild pokemon in it can give a shiny, not just certain ones. and as i said before, its easier to get a shiny legendary than anything else, as their stats/IV's (and therefore shininess) are calculated when you start the battle, so you can save in front of them and reset until you find it shiny
