@CMac1980z Totally , I spin to SLayer ''Angel of Death'' and ''Reign in Blood''. Also Ministry ''NWO and Just One Fix''. I started going into the room when no class is happening and put the music on myself. 2 people walked in to use the bikes and i asked them if they wanted me to turn off the music and they said NO WAY! We biked for 30 minutes together and after they said, ''this is what they should play i here.
I am certified in a number of different group exercise programs, and I see someone who has fused mind and body in a cycling workout. One cannot be fit without the other. He is giving his participants exactly what they need and he is doing it beautifully. Watch the whole class. He is a phenomenal instructor. Not everyone teaches the same way--we each have our own rhythm. He asks his class to find it. We ask our classes to find a little more than what they think they can give--he suceeds!
i admit, that in this class he has everyone hooked in, but i think that people in the uk would not really get this, its needs to be a little harder edged but keeping the principles the same.
"Be honest in the regular spinning or RPM you can be glad if you have 2 or 3 people who do excactly the same as you do" as a poster commented...well i think if you can inspire, motivate through saying the right things at the right time and your choice music you can, and i always feel i do..
Prop's where prop's are due - Johnny has the class where he want's them - As a fellow instructor isn't that what you want from the class? However - Not what I would look for in a class that I was participating in - would prefer an harder edged one with a go get em attitude ;-)
