OMG @ 0:21 WTH IS THAT THING CALLED? iv seen them here in Ireland and have pictures but don't know what it is and never seen one before or since that one day i got the pictures.
you should go to Australia, they have amazing insects and wildlife
I like how you made it so the moth flew off your your fingertip on the last beat of the measure at0:54 . It was a great touch, as well as the low swooping shots the various insects. I tried not make airplane noises. :-/
Ok, so, I hate moths and maybugs - They scare me silly. So, as a result, I can't appreciate your video as much as I normally would. HOWEVER, I still think its a very cool and clever video :-)
sum pipol really thinks its gross but ithink insects are really fascinating creatures, except when they bite you or sting or hurt you, definately not good!
i live in mass and frequetn Nh and maine and never seen hslf these bugs (thank god). but i alos live in the city and hardly look for bugs when im not. but i wouldnt sleep in that house if i seen that . i fn hate insects especailly ones that fly and spiders. im used to cockaroachs, ilived in the projects before.
eew, how could you let them on your ACTUAL hand!!!! I some times curse the fact that I live in the isle of man, uk, but if i lived anywhere else, I just cuoldnt put up with all those evil freaky ass bugs, ugh, very blugh, horrible. :oP
i think you have alot of potential talent. I've watched most of your vids. You're clever, funny, and you seem to have that single child outlook on life. I'm totally guessing your a single child. lol. If you're ever in LA I would love to work with you on a project.
Some of the moths we get at my house are simply gigantic, it's kind of unnerving actually... The hilarious part, though, is when a giant frog leaps onto the glass by the flood light and scares the bejesus out of the critters.
Nice work! Amazing what a simple light at night can attract - especially in a dark, woodsy area :-) You did a good job with filming, editing and soundtrack selection. =D
On a more serious note it shows, why some environmentalists want different nightlights e.g. for the street enlightment that operate in a frequency range that doesn't attract/disturb insects.
( As many of you know those night-active insects usually navigate by the moonlight and try to keep a certain angle to it to find their way, so they are not really flying to the light, because they are stupid or bored. ;) )
This is easily my favorite video from your channel. When I was little, I liked to appreciate the little and simple things in life and still do, and this captures that very well.
Absolutely wondeful video! I'm fascinated by insects in general but the luna moth is so beautiful! We don't have those in CA and it's one of those things I want to see sometime in my life.
i would get a kick out of going to the bathroom in the middle of the night just to observe the strange bugs that gather on the screen door when i went to camp in maine...epic.
Nicely done. Amazing as I live so close to MA (Connecticut, near New York) and if I knew you were visiting I would take you to dinner! (or do you call it supper?)
