  • It's beautiful!

  • I should probably start adding song from Hans Zimmer soon, his work is gold.

  • @FrankVila Lol, you're so wrong. There are no clicks in this scene in the movie, as well as there are no clicks on the original soundtrack album. It's possible you confused this piece with the famous "Journey to the Line" (where an intentional ticking sound is heard). Either way, at least author + 38 other people have really strange auditory sense for me.

  • @BimberMistrz Well... you're so right Mr.!!! I just listened to other publications and you're so right! I've being listening this soundtrack for over 10 years, and never occurred me my cd was just flawed. But as Zimmer seems to really experiment with his music, I thought he just add that clicking, just as he did for Journey to the Line. hahahahaha shame on me! Its unbelievable what one's mind can do, or in this case, assume. Thanks for the clarification... 10 years!

  • no man was made for this music

this music is for no man

    this is no music

this is the real life of someones imagination

  • ah good, you brought the wine.

  • 8 people were eaten by Anthony Hoppkins

  • @TheViolaMaestro 8 people were eaten that we know of.

  • fapfapfapfapfap

  • I LOVE HANS ZIMMER!!!!!1

  • @FrankVila Sounds more like Hannibal fapping in the background.

  • It sounds like someone's fapping in the background...

  • @phase866 Oh, good, it's not just me that initially thought that. rotf!

  • @phase866 sure it's not yourself?

  • @gastank43 My goodness, you're right!

  • @phase866 i very often make this mistake

  • People keep talking about a clapping sound. There is no clapping sound in the expanded version (which is what I'm listening to on iPod now)... You need the expanded version not the OST.

  • the clapping sound is really scary when you listen to it unprepared and home alone...it sounds like someone running around in your apartment behind your back...

  • im lost i saw silence of the lambs and i dont understand who the gay guy at the end is, and then hanibal seems like its the same movie but remade with no gay guy?? someoen explain pls lol

  • @BiGKi11AA You mean Buffalo Bill? He was killing women for their skin and trying to make a "woman" suit made out of women's flesh. Not because he's gay- I don't think it ever said he was in the movie- but because he wanted to reinvent himself because he hated himself as he was. Buffalo Bill was taken care of in Silence of the Lambs, which is why he didn't show up in other movies. Red Dragon is a good Hannibal Lecter movie as well.

  • @TheViolentJanes oh i see! i gota see the other ones, i heard red dragon was peoples least favorite, i wana see the other one.

  • @BiGKi11AA See 1986's Manhunter as well, as it's much better in a lot of ways than 2002's Red Dragon was. Both are great films though.

  • @TheAltair4 omg manhunter? lol so many! yea ill see that.

  • Hans Zimmer doesn't have to watch porns he can listen to his own music :D

"Yah give it to me ... "

Thats the realy reason why it makes clap clap clap... in the background :D

  • me gusta y mucho los soundtracks q se utilizan, inspiradoras y grax por subir tan dichosas canciones

  • Sounds like someone is beating it in the background.

  • hmmm mysterious noises in the background, i don´t want to know what Hans Zimmer done there ... :D

  • @Biergaertner94

How does *fap fap fap fap fap* sound suspicious to you??

  • @elsalfo how old are you, i think you will know it in a few years ;-)

  • the music fits perfect! i haveb´t seen the movie yet, but i wanna see it soon! I´ve read the book in less than a week and I´m really glad that the movie has got a better ending than the book :P

  • @MsMusicgirl96 Oh, it does. It really, truly does. The writing of Steven Zaillian for the adaptation is truly sublime; entirely ageless, I assure you. It's the second most incredible movie finale I've ever seen, behind 'The Usual Suspects' (1995), of course.

  • fap fap fap xD

  • podeis creeros que hay siete personas a las que NO LES GUSTA ESTO?

    translation for english people:

can you believe that there are seven people who DON'T LIKE THIS?

  • bad. film. AMAZING MUSIC!

  • clicking; what clicking? I thought that was my mouse.

  • I love this piece so much. . . I don't know why, but the sound in the background kind of reminds me of the sound blood droplets make when they hit the ground in horror films. . . .It's a beautiful mixture of confusion, peacefulness and the sense of something grim. Thank you for posting :')

  • @FrankVila

no its just reptilian language lol..

  • tossing off, hilarious, i love british people, what will they say next

  • @scoretosettle

lol, they call circle jerk rotary wank

  • Maybe the ticking represents the flapping wings of a moth.

  • @freds2903 I agree, the music is the flame that would attract the moth, the ticking / clicking is a moth flying its way into its own death.

  • @MrMichael1701 you suck at metaphors

  • CONDUCTED by Hans Zimmer??...Does that mean the score is completely orchestral? With nothing to do with synthetics?

  • @Ondus2000 - It's odd that this particular banner says composed and conducted, because Hans has been noted to have never conducted one of his own pieces. You can even watch the making of the music to this film and he's not conducting, he's sitting behind the recording equipment as usual.

  • @Ondus2000

Yes, this kind of music is usually made 100% the tradicional way.

  • Comment removed

  • fantastic music

it really pulls out in the lights the souls of the main protagonists

  • Oh I love Hans Zimmer !

  • great

  • ... :)

  • Great music but a little crackily sound.

  • This is a really great, never get tired of it. What's the name of the song?

  • how can i listen to this lovely music when all i have are images of you know what.uuuugghhh ha ha

  • beautiful soundtrack i love it

allthough i must say it sounds like someone's masturbating in the background :-D thanks for posting though

  • you now what Hannibal had a shitty life so he is free to eat anyone he wants

  • Sooo Saaaddddd and Soooo Beautiful....:D

  • The Music Sounds So Alone...( If You Know What I Mean! )....Beautiful Piece

  • Great track from a beautiful soundtrack.

  • gorgeous

  • Beautiful, as with every piece used in this movie.

  • Some failure due to the ripping of this track.

  • what is that clicking through the track?

  • i agree with u !

It really sounds like masturbating ^^

  • Hahaha looool

  • ihr seid doch alle krank :D

  • I don't know about you, but if you've ever masturbated while eating people...its an experience, it is.

  • Not if your the one beeing eaten!

  • Then its your LAST experience...

  • hahahahaha

  • Lol, well I can tell we definitely have the same sense of humor.

What are your views on being fired out of a cannon, into a giant cheese grater? XD

  • Hm. Tough call. I guess it all depends on which side of the cheese grater you're fired into. I would hope its the fancy side. If I'm going to make a mess, I would just as soon it be classy.

  • And then there's the issue with the cannon. Cannons aren't very classy. Even the ones they use for the circus. Too much elephant excrement on the bottom...

  • @Ludovikque

    HAHAHA Oh man.

  • @Ludovikque hahaha I can't focus on the music now

  • I have spent years trying to find where this track takes place in the film. I am still unsure as of today. Anyone know?

  • einfach göttlich

  • The book was a work of art, as was the film. Starling and Lecter are both different people in each though, and thus the two can never be compared. Zimmer's music goes beyond classification however, and is a perfect soundtrack for either.

  • how does the book end is it different from the movie

  • I belive it ends with Hannibal and starling running away together. Yes different from the movie since Starling managed to escape hannibal.

  • I personally loved the movie for what it was and loved the book for what it brought to my imagination. Both equally perfect!

  • Yeah that's more or less it. Hannibal drugs Starling and they run away together. By the time they become lovers you're not really sure if Starling is partcilarly drugged anymore. Personally, I believe she really was in love with him, but I'm sure others disagree.

  • Nope I believe she really loves him. To her, he is the only one that truely understands her!

  • My take was when Hannibal shot Kendler through the neck with the crossbow, she became hypnotized, but up until that point after him saving her, she was indeed drugged and at the end, he mentioned that if Starling ever heard the sound of another crossbow string, she would wake from her sleep. but that is just my take

  • mmm...there was the crossbow thing; I'd forgotten. Harris could have been a lot more informative on that point...

  • Where was that part? I forget it as well.

  • During the idyllic phase where Starling and Lector are living together (Starling is still drugged at that point). Lector actually mentions it deirecltly right after he shoots Krendler through the flowers.

  • I hated the film( a parody of itself), but the soundtrack is amazing. Great work Zimmer.

  • anthony performed perfectly the role of hannibal,it s a masterpiece,a model 4 new actors, extremely strong in performance, like him so much!

  • This is a singular composition. I wish you could replace the picture of Hopkin's Lecter though. The music stands on it's own.

  • beautiful song...

  • ohh :( I'm a huge Hannibal fan (and Hans Zimmer) and I used to listen to this soundtrack all the time..

Then my mom dropped it on accident while cleaning and it broke...

I think I was wearing it out too because it would start to skip at 0:59.

    WONDERFUL soundtrack

  • Hans Zimmer is good. Think he made most of the Pirates of the Caribbean songs aswell.

  • so graceful and mysterious

  • beautiful music, and wow.. the book's ending sounds great ^^ hahaha somewhat less tragic

  • This is a good film but the book, it is so much better. In the book Clarice and Lecter become lovers and run away together which is completely different from the ending in the film. They had to cut so much material out for the films, anyone who hasn't read the books should do so asap! Beautiful music.

  • Haha seizethedictators. I think you gave away the ending for those who haven't read the book.

  • Too bad!

  • hehe :)

  • I mean "Alone at Last"

  • Ohhhhh this is the song they played at the scene called "Finally Alone" when Clarice is in the car with Hannibal and she's all passed out. It's a beautiful sound. It makes you think of Hannibal and Clarice dancing together

  • Like in book, right...?

  • i got some few hannibal extended score soundtracks :D

great stuff, my favorite is bring him home :)

  • 5*! great...just...great...

  • Great music! I love this poster, it has the original maroon eyes Hannibal is supposed to have in the book. X3

  • FrankVila Sabes donde puedo conseguir sus composiciones del gran Hans Zimmer o alguine sabe de algun lugar donde este a la venta sus discos

  • this i 1 of my fav movei posters coz it describes perfectly the sinister character of Hannibal

  • fantastic .... bravo Hans Zimmer !!! Bravo !!!

  • This album stand on it's own even without the film. Love this one,To Every Captiv Soul and Burning Heart.

  • i lovet the score of Hannibal :D

and at last i Gourment Vlase Tarta soundtrack, afther months whit searching ;)

  • Hans Zimmer , one of the greatest Composers.

  • Yeah, only Ennio Morricone can beat him.

  • Great song! Thanks for posting!
