  • This song's da shit ......

  • Say Hi To The Bad Guy, I Come From The Bottom.. Says it all

  • yo that coure is fly though...im comin from the bottem but now im mad fly, they say that im a menace thats the picture of the paint, they say alot about me let me tell u who i aint...he go hard though

  • The last verse is prolly one of da best tru story ever... Kind of make you relate to the track a lil bit more.... "We aint doing crime for da sake of doing crime...we moving dimes cause we aint doing fine..."

  • "BITCH!" Lol :3

  • sum of biggie"s skillz rubbed off..this is the next best thing under the best thing(BIGGIE)

  • If u like hip hop check my version :p

    /watch?v=UAJ4XHtYQE8

  • i still like Reasonable Doubt better. Jay-Z just had more complex lyrics

  • @DarkMetuMovement take it easy slim

  • Feel good music

  • what the hek is th illest rapper

  • @babe2234ify the best lol where u from hahaha

  • dope

  • His rhymes are as hollow as his name, they don't mean thing Immortal technique rips this guy apart ,.. the beat is nice though

  • @Artezoros are you serious? Talking about conspiracies all day doesn't mean anything as far as being a great rapper.

  • MY NEW THEME SONG !!!

  • hello bad guy

  • mind on my money MONEY on my MIND if you owe me 10 DOLLARS you ant givin me 9

  • some of those lyrics are off

  • at 3:07, it's system and not sister.

  • Jay Z killed this one

  • who produced this beat?

  • dj toomp

  • @justrude88 P Diddy produced the whole album

  • @speedieshax no..he was the executive producer...

  • im an EXTRAordinary niggaa! damnnn.....

  • @BEATDAT123

    diddy produced the album

  • @BEATDAT123 the way i read that kinda made me laugh

  • beat so soulful. the bassline is so pimpalacious.

classic r&b songs from the 70s will forever be timeless.

  • Classics like this make me fall inlove with rap.

  • this song reminds mme at mi uncle house on thanksgiving playin pool in the basement.. it be blastin

  • he tore this shit up. aint a thug for the sake of bein a thug.

  • this song starts to kick ass at 55 seconds

  • j's that jigga nigga 'n wayne's just a nigga

  • the reason lil wayne will never be on the same level as any real rapper, is because t-paining it/ singing is not rapping, and the real artists behind lil waynes music isnt lil wayne, its the beatmaker. same with most rappers coming out today, some dj/producer is making all the phat beats, and messin with the autotune while the "rapper" has a writer who writes for him and all he does is make sure it is on tempo. And they can barely stay on the flow these days. The burbs destroyed hip hops vision.

  • if you owe me ten dollars you aint giving me nine!!!

  • does anyone know how to get the drum symbol playing in this song?

  • a did yal hear dat jay-z pass me the ball song

  • When Jena 6 don't exist tell him that's when i'll stop saying bitch BIITTTCCCHHH!!!!

  • When Jena 6 don't exist tell him that's when i'll stop saying bitch BIITTTCCCHHH!!!!

  • i can vibe to this song all day!!!! JAY HOVA!!!

  • i always found it interesting that jay was one of the artists who took the most flack for being "too commercial" on albums..but when he brought out that creative and authentic side the "industry" as well as the streets weren't ready for what he brought...this record proves that the industry let alone the ppl will never be ready for real music

  • the last first...true words

  • I have been listening to Jay since Reasonable Doubt and with all the albums and hit singles this album and this song is HANDS DOWNS MY FAVORITE JAY-Z iif not MY FAVORITE SONG EVER OF ALL TIME!!! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!! He couldn't do it again its just one of those things when all the stars are aligned just right!!! What a beautiful song!!! I'm looking 4 the original instrumental but can't find it. Its a watered down version out there don't want it.IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE TO FIND THE ORIGINAL SEND ME A

  • cant top dis

  • this guy is a don!!! this fukin dude is the fukin man! i feel like I am on 170th and jerome in the bronx 1975 walking down the street and i am little again i swear this shit is authentic. This guy is just too much. i cant drive past marcy without thinking about this nigga i dont care if i pass by a dozen times i always say to myself this is where the don come from cause this nigga is a don..a mother fukin singing cowboy.

  • real gansta musik

  • its da rock bitch

  • Songs like these are the reason Wayne will NEVER!!!!! be able to even be on the same plane as Jay.Its a emcee vs. rapper thing.Oranges and apples not the same thing.SAY HELLO!!!!!

  • true dat! This guy is bigger than rap. this guy is a movie.

  • @johnboiphoenix IM WIT YOU ON THIS JAY IS THE BEST EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • illest rapper ever...believe that

  • this is dope

  • I just hope jay-z knows how much his real fans appreciate this shit, get your money but thank you for the real stuff, jaydiohead is an ill remix by the way if yall haven't heard.

  • i dont even listen to hip hop... but jay z is brilliant.

  • people who don't like this album don't respect the concept; he made the album off a movie, that's crazy... jay-z is nice

  • man dis a theme...

  • lol dat is the snit

  • my shit!!

    i gives madd props!

  • i agree

  • I listen to mostly 90s hip hop - Jay-Z is the one exception. He doesn't need to have 5 other rappers on a track to make it "popular", there's a reason he's worth half a billion dollars. Flow is sick. Good post.

  • I'm Swap the pain Mad man oh!!

  • samples is the love we share is the greatest from them all of tom brock.

    mysp ace. com /m2lonewolf

  • the lyrics this person posted for this song are not correct, FYI

  • This Song Rocks..i have the album

  • Dark Jermaine is a character off of one of BIG's albums

  • lol i kno what you say

but all of those shits with T.I. also fire arent they?

  • T.I. feat. Young Jeezy: " I Got Money". Crazy. I love producers that have their own sound.

  • agree! I heard couple Young Jeezy songs but probably its the best.

P$C - Bankhead also the one never exist on the past, even on the future.

  • Rick Ross had the songs "White House", and also did "This Me", which were the best songs on his albums. TI had "Look What I Got". His best song right now is the new NaS song "N.I.G.G.E.R. (The Slave and The Master). He's got his own sound that could make anybody sound awesome.

  • Oh N.I.G.G.E.R also producted by DJ Toomp? I didnt know that XD Just I thought it sounds so familiar.

Yeah Look What I Got also my favorite. And from his first album, I like "Dope Boyz" and "Do It Baby, Stick It Baby". Both beats made by Toomp.

  • I didn't know Toomp made those songs either. "Look What I Got" and "Dope Boyz" are probably TI's best songs. "Do It Baby..." is really old- didn't know Toomp has been around that long. I found out who he was after TI came out with "You Don't Know Me".

  • A lot of people think all of his beats sound the same, but I just think he has a distinct style. Dr. Dre has a style, and so does Timbaland, and Lil' Jon. This is just Toomp music. It's Maybach Music to the fullest.

  • Yeah Kanye West has own style : sampling.

Btw, did you check The Game's single "House of Pain" produced by Toomp? It bit rough but keeping original sound like "Look What I Got".

  • Yes!! I'm loving that song right now. It's easy to point out a Toomp beat because of his drums. He's just got that sound, and doesn't overdo it.

  • Hey check "Wish You Would" Ludacris feat. T.I. also it's one of the greatest by Toomp on 2008 XD 2 hottt!

  • yeah this shit comes from Toomp, one of my bests

Jay mad on this... like last "BIIITCHH!" lol

  • What record or album was the reference to "DARK-SKINNED JERMAINE" from?

  • From Biggie song "You're Nobody Until somebody kills you" for the Life After Death album.

  • THANK YOU! I just listened to both songs again. It seems like Jay-Z was saying that he was kinda the same like darkskinned Jermaine from the standpoint of a hustler, but the difference being Jermaine was lame and he wasn't. That's interesting how artists' comment on the characters in each others lyrics and if you don't pay close attention you would miss that connection. That's the type of stuff that makes you a TRUE FAN of the art form. I am, but you were better on that one. Good Lookin Out!

  • The Poverty We Not Above So Out Come The Mask And Glove Cuz We Aint Feelin Da Love

DAMN Jigga U GAT SOME LYRICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • style...it's a question of style! HOV!!!!!!

  • this my favorite song off the cd....remember Dark Skin Jermaaaaaaaaaaineeeeeeeeeeeee

  • who is dark-skinned jermaine

  • @stasiathestar ....reference to Biggie's song, 'you're nobody till somebody kills you".."silly cat, wore suade in the rain, swore he put the G in Game.....a fuckin shame, duke's a lame, whats his name?? Dark skin Jermaine,,see what i mean"...

  • this is my favorite jay z song

  • " i aint no ordinary nigga"

look around and see what ordinary gets ya

    Extraordinary figures

" im an extra- ordinary nigga" tHAT SHIT WAS FIRE LOL

  • Jay-Z style is so classy. you gotta know what he sayin to really feel him.

  • fuck you, stupid backpacker..

the only one on that list better than Jay is Rakim...

  • Them dudes will never make a song like this. They'll keep claiming they are underground and real hip hop but jay is walking the walk. This song and partylife is like bill gates and microsoft while the dudes on that list are small business..!!!

  • Hes da real shit and i dont listen to much rap.

  • this my shit this is a fuckin boos in da booth...deff the best nigga no contest

  • jay z is a genius. I dont care if hes black or white or whatever. Im a musician, and I think we're a different breed anyway. People need to calm down and just enjoy what hes laid out for you all. Its a waste of time to bicker over bullshit.

  • A NEW CLASSIC

  • Its easy to be white and say the word Nigger on the computer. now if you were 2 say it on a random street in harlem and live to tell about it now thats impressive... something like that is youtube worthy

  • yeah u aint afraid to say nigger on the computer but, ur scared to say it in a room full of black people.

  • Man This Dude Is the Truth.. He Gave it to The Summer And Like he Said it's the Winters turn.. Man Crucial MoveS

  • cool...fix up the lyrics visual and it will be hot! good work

  • Toomp is a beast.

  • Jay-Z moving from Def Jam to Sony was probably the best decision of his career.

That aside (kinda), this album is the hottest. Jigga's comin back, especially with beats like this. Worthy of the title American Gangster.

  • Hottest song Jay has put out in a while
