I can't believe as a gamer I've over-looked this game! That is, until last night when my Cousin (props to Kevin Piercy), brought out his box of Zombies!!! v2.0. Now, I'm hooked like a fish on the line! I put my order in for that + 1 bag of 100 zombies +

expansion #2. I only hope that my order was "just in time"... for the game designers are going on a vacation for a week. ( Xing fingers! ).

I am thinking about buying this game. Do I need to immediately buy the extra zombies? What is the general replayability of the game?

@dec08a You have probably already choose not to buy it or not, but you don't need to buy extra zombies unless you are going to have a big game. As far as replayablity goes the game will get boring after awhile just like anyother game, but the rules are very simple, all most too simple. (This might just be me though playing Arkham Horror too many times does make you think many games are simple.)

under the Combat Rules Section it clearly states that you can not play with 0 life tokens. You die after you loose you last one.

Correction: You have to Discard a card at the begining of your tyrn and then draw up to three if you have 3....

This from the rulebook:

"7. At the end of the turn, you may discard one event card from your hand.

Play then proceeds clockwise around the table."

You play cards at the beginning of your turn though.

I love altering the rules; I play where you can have multiple zombies on one space (hoards), it makes for very intense battles.

I bought this game like three months ago but haven't played it yet. I like my nephew to help me play any boardgames that i buy, do you lay the map-tiles out first or do you play them as you begin the game?

You lay a map tile down at the beginning of each turn, if I remember correctly. I haven't actually played the game seriously since I put this video out.

I bought this game about three days ago, and have played it six times since.

It's an amazing game.

Usually what I do is lay the whole map out. That way not one player gets an advantage with the shops and what not. [Shops contain lives and bullets, if you didn't know... and Zombies.]

By rules: At the beginning of every turn, the player first draws a map tile and plays it wherever they want.

That's the beautiful thing about Zombies: you're free to adhere to the rules or you can create a set of your own.

Me and my freinds make a custom rule that 2 zombies can be on the same sqaure so the srvivor has to kill both the hordes get even bigger and it makes it seem more like the end of the world

Unless you're playing with 5 to 6 people or custom rules here there can never be that much Map Tiles the 2nd round in... ( yeah I know,.. I'm being a nitpicker here)

if you change a few rules to this game it can be much more exciting! my friends and I play without the zombie pool rule, and if u die you become a super zombie and get to do the zombie moves for the players that are alive. the only way to win is to find the helecopter pad, which we always put at the bottom of the deck to make the game last even longer!!! its super fun!

We laughed our asses off! Great fun at a very low price. Get the fireaxe if you can. The second game we played I was able to collect the 25 zombies without being killed once. I was dealt 2 axes and it paid off bigtime. The grenade is good but a little risky. Big time zombie killer on the up side.

I just post-ordered the game (2nd edition) and the first 2 expansions, because I really liked the concept and like annything in the zombie genre (espesially Dead Rising, if you know that game)

I've seen Dead Rising played, but I've never had the opportunity to play it myself. From what I understand, the next Zombies!!! expansion features a carnival and zombie clowns.
