Can you just use any MK5 cluster?

Any is it an easy job? I saw some pictures..looks like 4 solder points?

How did you replace the actuator??? I have the same problem i think for the REV counter.

I opened the cluster up, desoldered the old actuator and fitted a working one from an old cluster
