@rbseaver thanks! yeah, I really tried to phrase the vocals similarlarly but my singing tone is a little softer than usual in this one, mostly because the playing required so much focus and i hadn't yet committed the rhythms to muscle memory so that i could really push the vocals. according to joe callicott akers was something of a one trick pony and all his songs do have a very similar style and feel. But Man! what a pony! he was a rhythm dynamo with a vocal and playing style all his own.
As usual, everything sounded great. Your vocals, in this performance, were eerily authentic, though. Most excellent!
