  • alot of people are talking bullshit...

  • Technically, this has no real evidence to it.

This is an estiamte over time. Estimates over time are rarely accurate. We'll know for sure if this is correct in 2019.

  • This is the same woman that reported the city of Los Angeles was going to purchase 1 billion dollars in jet packs to chase criminals. They got the information from an article from "The Weekly World News" The very same folks that brought you "Bat Boy Found in Cave" YouTube "Fox Jet Pack"

    They don't check facts.

  • she's just saying what they told her to say. you really think gretchen carlson has any clue about the federal government and it's economics? her fox qualifications come in a bottle of bleach. i'm not being sexist am i? just in case, the two guys are like ken dolls. plastic and stupid.

  • How can health care reform save money? Really? The government, which is already in a ton of debt, is now going to be giving away free health care? How on Earth can that possibly save us money?

  • I want the same health care plan that congress has. It seems that they enjoy government run health care enough to keep it. Sounds good to me.

  • do you really have to "debunk" some foxnews shows?

  • It is amazing to me that senator dumb ass passed over this stupid bitch in favor of governor stupid bitch avon lady. What is the difference? A dye job.

  • wow, I just llove the tired liberal cliches you neo-commies are regurgitating. Sorry kiddies, you just don't know how government bureaucracies work. And the only doctored polls that show that majority of the people would rather the government run their health care system by dictators in Washington are the leftist ones.

But of course if you ask if people would rather pay for their own stuff versus having some one else pay for it, I'm sure lazy libs would much rather soak someone else.

  • @smartenson In short, maths doesn't work if it goes against your position.

  • @electango: What color is the sky in your world?

  • Anyone who think the totalitarian take over of the best health care system in the world will not cost billions and increase the deficit, increase unemployment, create even more fraudulent and corrupt democrat bureaucracies just doesn't understand how the world works. Democrat programs such as this have never been less costly and economically destructive than claimed. This risky and reckless scheme will be no different.

  • @smartenson Losing a fair election by a landslide doesnt constitute living under totalitarianism; the majority of the nation is in favor of the new law. Regardless of what doctored faux polls may try and say

  • @SDM121888 I didn't wright that I've never even searched for a vid like this before. I don't even know what a totalitarian is. OMG SOMEONE HACKED MY ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!! I swear I'm not lying!!!!

  • Typical Fox...

"A lot of people" or "I've heard people" or "Some people"...

give me a break. Do some real news and journalism. Or at least change your "We report you decide" and "Fair and Balanced" slogan, and your channel name so that it doesn't have "news" in it. Maybe "THE GOP CHANNEL" or something like that... "Conservative USA".

  • Notice how she is reading from a paper

  • Fox News: The Special Olympics of Journalism.

  • faux news everybody, faux news!

  • Who needs facts and an informed opinion when you've got outrage and blonde hair and BOOBS!? LOTS OF BOOBS!

    Typical Faux News.

  • According to Fox News this isn't one of their news shows, this is part of their opinion shows. Fox News only does News from 9 am to 5pm. I just realized how ironic that was after I wrote it, Fox News only does news while people are at work. I wonder if this could be some kind of conspiracy or something.

  • She is just another wing nut bimbo on FOX.

  • Do any of this "lot of people" she mentioned actually know what the fuck they're talking about?

  • Fox use alot of "some people say this" and "someone said that" in their reporting.

  • Yeah, I know. I was taking the long way around in order to comment on it.

Sorry if I was unclear. :-)

  • Every time I see the "FALSE" stamp... I see "FAIL"

  • The Tax the Churches area comes since so many churches feel the need to step in on many Political views. They also help raise money for certain Political agenda's. I thought we had a Separation of Church and State in this country, it's about time we start to show it.

  • Ha!

The translation of any Fox news anchor saying "a lot of people say" is "we say through our opinion segments what is then picked up our reporting segments as what a lot of people are saying."

In other words whenever you hear the phrase "a lot of people say" on Fox news, the lot of people saying it IS Fox news.

It's a perfect symbiotic relationship between bullshit opinions and bullshit reporting.

It's an old neocon trick called creating reality.

  • The Republicans started this recession then they blamed Obama while refusing to do anything to help fix things.

That is like shitting your pants, blaming your neighbor and then standing in the middle of the street with shit running down your legs refusing to change your pants.

  • This is the most awesome comment I've ever read on YouTube. You need a trophy for this one dude.

  • Dudette,,, LOL and thanks.. I wish I could take full credit for it but the origional was made by a friend of mine I just changed the wording a little. :) Feel free to use it.. as we want it posted as much as possible because it really does put things in perspective.

  • I can't think of any deep recession that has been solved in less than one year of any administration. In fact, job recovery is the LAST step to any economic growth, trailing the other indicators by 6-9 months. The cut tax/regulations but raising spending policies that we had under the last president did not help the debt situation either, hence the recession starting at the end of his term.

  • Electango: To be honest with you presidents promise things all the time and honestly they should learn not to do that. Remember 'Mission Accomplished' or 'We'll be welcomed as liberators'? I also wished that Obama tackled jobs before health care BUT I will say that no matter what he did jobs would not have come back this year at the rate of losing 700,000 jobs a month in Bush's last months in office.

  • Elect: Not even one year in is not too late for anything. Reagan had a terrible first two and a half to three years and ended up being a two term president. Republicans claim he is one of the greatest presidents, who like Obama, was a polarizing figure. I am not comparing their resumes at all, but I am saying that saying someone is done before his first year is up is a bit premature.

  • @JamaicanJasta Thats a good point. Unemployment was 10% in 1983, three years into Reagan's presidency but things turned around and he got re-elected in 1984. Obama inherited a 1.3 trillion dollar deficit and it is going to take time to fix. Saying he is done is premature. If things turn around like it did for Reagan, he will win a second term and all the nay-sawyers are going to heave their heads up their butts.

  • But he still doesn't have to talk about the jobs he's saved! He's gloating about doing nothing. Now i'll admit, Bush wasn't very good, but that's because he was an almost rino(republican in name only)

  • JamacanJasta is spot on with her comment. Look how much time they spent getting us in the shape we are in.. To expect an instant change is childish. The fact is things as getting better and we are much better off than we would have been had nothing been done. This is according to some of the best economists in the world. I think they are a little more qualified than you or I.

  • Do you even bother to get informed at all because it doesn't seem like it based on your comment. Do you realize that the reason why Obama is taking time to come up with a stratogy when it comes to Afghanistan is because he wants an exit stratogy? I bet you are against that too. Obama is nothing like Bush. If Bush were in office still we would be in a world of hurt and probably 3 wars.

  • An exit strategy? Hello!?!? Obama is going to add 40,000 troops. That's escalating a war in a black hole where both Russia and Britain received humiliating beat downs. Here's my exit strategy...tell your top generals you want all US troops out of Afghanistan in 3 months. Trust me, they will get it done. If you think Obama is after an exit strategy, you're more poorly informed than I thought.

  • Why don't you run for president if you think you can do a better job. BTW did you see the CBO report on health reform yet?

  • Suppose I couldn't do a better job as President. That's your reason for supporting the clueless incompetent Obama? Never forget....the same people who run the DMV and the Post Office are gonna be handling your open heart surgery if the thieves in Washington get a hold of health care. They will completely politicize and destroy our health care system. We need less government in America, not more.

  • I support him because I believe in what he is trying to do. I have not bought into the scare tactics so you are wasting your time.

  • Hmmm...my DMV has wonderful service. I don't even have to go to the office to renew my tags. I don't think my Postal Delivery guy is going to do any surgeries, but he sure gets me my mail pretty well.

  • I agree. In fact I would say I have an outstanding mailman. Although I can not get tags through the mail where I live it's really not a big deal at the DMV.

  • Oh and I almost forgot.. No.. It's not like saying anything of the sort.

  • Dude, even the Fox news execs say that this isn't news, appearantly it's an opinion show, lol. A factles opinion show.

  • michelle bachmann used to babysit gretchen carlson. true story.

  • I'd bang her and make her scream out OBAMA!

  • Bush's tax cuts on the rich resulted in lost revenue of 2+ trillion over 10 years, which coincidentally also increased debt.

  • *A lot of people believe that Gretchen Carlson use to give blow jobs for crack.

  • Thats not a belief, thats a fact.

  • I have first hand experience with this! Only it was for a cheese burger.

  • And rimjabs for half off on Tuesdays,

  • @kelseywall and for jobs at fox news

  • Fox is the land of "some people say" and "a lot of peole think." Such statements are code for "I'm about to lie to you and make things up."

"Some people say the earth will explode tomorrow," except they're lunatics.

"A lot of people (i.e. Fox viewers) believe Obama was born oveseas," except he wasn't.

Some people say Gretchen Carlson is an ignorant, lying, bimbo. Hey, I'm not SAYING she is, I'm just saying that "some people" are saying that.

  • i could not have said it any better,

    true

  • typical Fox "reporting"

notice how she says "a lot of people" and "people"

who are those people? what is "a lot"

    its a very subjective term

just say YOU and Fox News think that health care will add to the debt

  • It seems perfectly fine to spend 6 trillion on endless wars over the next 10 years, However spending 1 trillion over the next 10 years for Health Care is just a big bad no no to them.. and sadly Many of the ones against this are Pro-Lifers... makes you go WTF!

  • Comment removed

  • And of course the Bush endless wars continue under Obama only now they are good wars! Neither Bush nor Obama learned the lessons of Vietnam. If you don't know what victory looks like, don't fight the war. The black hole known as Afghanistan is now no longer a black hole and Obama wants to escalate this losing war. The only reason Bush and Obama have American troops fighting and dying in these two hell holes are to make money for Bush Obama friends in Halliburton and Blackwater.

  • I don't agree with either of the wars we are currently in since its based upon Nation Building which yes Bush started and yes Obama is holding onto to try and keep some Independents happy which have support in the war and favor his re-election bid in 2012.

    I have a easy fix

Withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan, Let them fight the wars which they have been fighting for thousands of years over religious views. Legalize Marijuana to help support Health care reform, and if needed Tax The Churches.

  • Yes, to most of that. Legalize marijuana, regulate it and tax it, like cigarettes. That way instead of killing some 5,000 and spending some odd billions of dollars on a drug "war," we're actually profiting from one of the largest cash crops in the world.

Also, stop spending money on subsidies on corn. It's fueling our fatness and contributes to why we have so many health care problems.

  • Do not forget what our founding fathers even said regarding Marijuana. I always like to put that forth towards those whom seem to like to invoke those old powers and slap them in the face with it..

  • This is why two Ohio tv stations,in Cincinnati and in Cleveland, fired her dumb ass because she is a news diva, not a talented or smart one. I am wondering how in the hell she graduated from Stanford University? I guess it was supposedly good looks and talent in the bedroom.

  • This is scary and might explain a lot..........One of her childhood nannies was Michele Bachmann, before she became a Republican congresswoman.

  • Who cares what this lady thinks--she can't even get her make up on right because she still looks ugly.

  • Even though she's white bitch still looks like a monkey

  • Rupert Murdoch pays Carlson's salary, so she spouts out what he demands and at the end of the day she proclaim.....HEIL Rupert!

  • She actually does his shrimp on the barbie!!!!!!!!

  • LMAO.......not a pretty picture but it must be in her contract,

  • Is it me or the main women(not Jane Skinner, who is married to Roger Goddell,NFL commisoner) who work at Fox News, have to sleep with Rupert to keep their job?

  • I heard a rumor going around from five interns at Fox News that Jane Skinner was sleeping with Murdoch, but only after she cleans his spectacles. It may just be a unbiased rumor.

  • As much as I support Universal Health Care, I know any sort of of public health care will add to public expenses. In America's case, it will add to the national debt.

That's why the news are reporting that China is *demanding* the US government to report every details of the Health Care Reform to them, because Chinese know ultimately they are the one who will be actually paying for America's health care. (Just google the news.)

  • and as a Chinese, I am absolutely pissed that my people will be paying for Americans' excess and health care -- given that Chinese government doesn't even finance health care for their own people, and now they'll have to pay for Americans'.

  • "quick" facts, unfortunately, aren't going to convince anyone who's not already on your side.

Provide the information, not just the soundbite from agencies republican idiots don't trust in the first place.

  • socialism for the rich

    capitalism for the poor

    give us your poor

    your tired

    your hungry

your masses yearning to be free

    ...and we'll PISS on them

that's what the statue of bigotry says!

    Lou Reed

  • Fox News... *shudder!*

  • Here's something I don't understand about FOX "news," why are they only concerned about linking health care reform with new debt? Why do they make no mention of the trillions we've spent in undeclared, unjustified, endless wars?

    Just something to think about.

  • Am seeing this in allegedly non-partisan, hard news outlets, "stacking" talking points into the identification of what's being referred to... as in: costly healthcare reform, or socialized medicine proposals, or government-run healthcare. Polls based on questions weasel-worded this way, are at least suspect... and there's no way someone merely hearing the results can know how the questions were worded. News presented this way isn't news... it's propaganda. Welcome to Propaganda America.

  • Republicans are not known for the accuracy of their "facts".

  • That is because facts have a Liberal bias.

  • Just like reality, right. LoL

  • @nidodson 109$ billion cannot be accounted to a liberal bias.
