I think you can tell the difference between the two because the Door-Bookcase looks thicker and has this really small box around it. The other one doesn't.

You need the apartment life expansion pack. There are two bookcases though. You need to get the most expensive one, then read the mysteriously mysterious mystery book

okay, what you do,is you make a door, then place right on wall where it is, remember to make a secret room, or what ever.

I have heard lots of people say "You need to make sure you have the right bookshelf, because there are two identical ones." But in my game, there is only ONE bookshelf that looks like that. And there is no "Mysteriously Mysterious Book."

You actually just get it with all of the other bookcases. There are two look alikes- but only one spins around

when you are on the Sims 2 make a straight long wall then place the bookcaseon the wall and it will show up on both sides. once you've placed it on the wall and it's usable click on read book or book or read whatever it is and then it will come up with romance, mystery, etc and select the longest mystery one. if this doesn't help or you have a question just ask me(:

It's a bookcase that get's placed on both sides of the wall and you have to pull out the Mysteriously Mysterious Mystery Book and you spin around! (:
