Sony are by far the better quality phones.

in virtually all if not all areas.

I had a k750 i which is 2mpx and it was 3 times as good quality as my friends 2mpx samsung.

I now have the C905 and to be honest, its flawless.

Camera sounds great, but video and screen sounds average.

The video option is: QVGA (320x240) @30fps...

The screen is: 240x320 pixels (QVGA), 2.4", 262,144 (18-bit) color TFT LCD...

On the video I expected something like 640x480 VGA at 30 fps, and the screen to be slightly larger and a resolution on 640x480 or perhaps even 800x600 and 16 million colors.

Got this phone today... it is a very nice phone but one thing is really annoying. The phone only has one camera on it which means when video calling you cannot look at the screen and allow the other person on the other phone to see your face at the same time.... they can only see what is infront of you or you but if you are in the cameras view you cannot see the other caller. Really let's it down, but still great..... 9/10

I think it is perfect with one camera, I don't see any meaning seeing the one I speak with.

Still it is nice to sometimes show something with the video camera which this phone does excellent.

ärligt, ericsson med sina jävla miniskärmar, släpte c902 med 5mp kamera och 2" skärm och den här är 8mp med ännu en skitskärm, medans alla konkurenter släpper sina 8mp med 2.8" - 3" skärmar.

Typiskt lätt o lagom design, man vill inte stå ut eller göra det lite extra spektakulära i sina telefoner, fan va trött man blir på ericsson och deras telefoner har börjat bli väldigt tråkiga, symbian operativ systemet är framtiden och ericsson sitter fast i samma skitsystem som när dom släppte sin W serie.

So this is the true successor to the K850i. The K850i is a terrible phone. My 3rd one in 10 months went wrong yesterday. And its only 6 weeks old. The camera on it was faulty anyway, i just couldnt be bothered taking it back. But now it wont work at all. Crap even when it works. Maybe il get this new one as im due for an upgrade in november but i dont trust sony ericssons reliability. I had 3 K800i's.

There are two big difference between this and the c902. The c902 is styled well and may be lighter but the c905 is clearly a superior phone. Nevermind the 8mp camera (which has amazing shots, btw) but wi-fi on a SE? I thought the day was far, far away! But alas it has come! Only problem is that I just bought a w890i two months ago. =(

i just got the c902 during my trip to hong kong, and i must say that i prefer it over the c905. Although there is a great difference in mp, the c905 is too bulky for my liking, and i personally think that the c902 was styled much better. to me, the only major difference between the two is the mp of the camera, which to me is just an extra accessory. the only thing that i like about it is that unlike the c902, the cover for the camera lens only has to be pushed down, as opposed to pulling it out.

That is absolute BS. Not only do SE screens save battery life, they're also one fo the best on the market (the brightest and with most vivid colours). Just look at some of the newer models, like the K850, the W890, the K660 etc. They've all got fantastic screens.
