  • Уважаемый, а что у вас за камера?

  • @aleksecond Canon HV30

  • when this video was filmd?in 2011?

  • @netherlands1999 Yes, in 2011. And it's very sad, that in XXI century in capital of Ukraine trams are in such bad condition :(

  • Very impressive video! I listened to it with a subwoofer, wow...

At 0:30 you can hear the PCC-car's typical "bang"-sounds when main relay switches off if driver lefts his feet away from the "gas"-pedal. So the approaching train announces itself from far away :) I know Tatra T3s from my visits in Eastern Germany (GDR) and Prague/CSSR about 20 years ago. But later they build in quiet thyristor controls instead of the mechanical PCC-accelerator...

  • @premiumexpert Yes, i also love that sounds. And you are absolutely right, the electrical scheme (and not only it) of PCC trams was copied by Tatra in its firs model T1. For Soviet Union, Tatra produce T3 trams with identical electrical equipment as in T1 and T2 model it was used, and actually they named it T3SU (SU means for Soviet Union). This requires the customer for greater unification and ease of repair existing trams. On environmental protection in that country, nobody care

  • The roads are really worse than Lviv, at least the roads in Lviv are neat and not dirty. The roads in Kiev just look like they haven't fixed for at least 10 years!!

  • @hkseed Actually, you are right, tram tracks in Kiev haven't fixed more than 10 years! Practically, with the collapse of the Soviet Union no one in Kiev did not do capital repair of streets with tram traffic. The rails are worn more than 80%!

  • The same trams drives here in Leipzig.

Interesting to take a look to Kiew. I have visit the city 1984.

  • @Bidone1967 They are similar but not are same as yours. Leipzig have T4DM - they have a more modern electrical equipment and they body are narrower than our T3SU to 30cm

  • when our soviet tram going to change!!! very old and bad road and we still doing crutoy:))

  • can you name bad district's or ryon?

  • What a great clip. How interesting to see the variety of trams and the streets of Kiev from the comfort of my home in Australia.

  • @Rocketboy1950 Thank you! I'm glad that you like it
