Is this lok based out of the DDM in Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg? I rode behind a 52 in late May of 2000 over the Schiefe Ebense - what a 30 minutes!!

No! This locomotive is based in the northern side of Nuremberg (train station called 'Nürnberg Nordostbahnhof'), where the FME has it's own area.

that train had a cool horn on it. over here in N America the trains are real loud
