A BOV is used to release the pressure created by the turbo when you back off the throttle (Shifting mainly) so you can shift Faster/Smoother

@ihrocks Dude, you cant give out shit and then be wrong about it, Its not to shift faster or smoother, its tp prevent wastegate surge, where the boost pressure enters the compressor wheel of the turbo, creating it nto stall and spin, stall and spin, hence that flutter noise, it reduces this by venting the pressure that would cause this, so has nothing to do with shifting :)
