  • I'd go with this talking orange sphere over the Annoying Orange any day. :P

  • No, The theme reminds me of Little Chrissy singing

  • This is stillll amazing.......awwwwww being a kid was fun

  • An amazing example of Claymation!

  • The BEST song by Cecile. No question about it.

  • Contestant Number 8 Isabella

  • The story of Mario and Bowser's relationship.

  • CECILE !!!!!!! now they promoting long distance relationships ............ na na na na na

  • OMG I remember this! I just couldn't remember where this was from!

  • I love Cecille When I was younger she was one of my favorite sesame street characters. I rembered her we got the new sesame street dvd set 40 Years of Sunny Days and it brings back great memories.

  • Does anyone know where I can find the episode where the french guy is sensitive about the word nose cause he has a big nose that he use as a sword? On another note love this!! I miss the old sesame street and all the other things I grew up with. All the kid shows are crap now, they are weird and to put it plainly very fucked up for kids to watch

  • If my half-way decent voice and I ever make it to the top 10 of American Idol I swear I'll sing this song on live TV...not that it will ever happen but I'll keep the hope alive...

  • I miss being 5 too! Life was easier then (I'm 25 now). "Cecile" was my favorite segment on "Sesame Street." I loved the music, and the colors! I still really enjoy it, all these years later! Thanks for bringing back happy memories. ;)

  • Man watching this reminds me of the production quality the show used to have that I feel it be very sorely lacking these days. Makes me feel like a kid again. Thanks for posting.

  • lol, stalker much?

  • this was and still is my favourite cecille segment. by FAR. i love it.

  • i remember this like yesterday...i used to love the water effect for some reason

  • Comment removed

  • this sounds a little stalky

  • Who did her voice?

  • cecile is what u call a true artiste lol

  • no.

  • When I use to watch the Cecile clips on Sesame Street as a kid, I use to wish so much that I could do that with my Play-Doh. :)

  • I like how the boat horn at 1:28 was actually in-tune with the song!

  • Ah, yes... The totally STALKING song!!!! No, no just kidding, good song, though...

  • Holy heck, I can't believe I found this. Every now and then through the years the lyrics "I'm gonna get to you, na na na na naa" would float through my head. This song has been haunting my head to find it, but I never could and now I have! I might have known it was sesame street, but seriously I would have to say this is the earliest thing I remember from my childhood. Sesame Street, you rock.

  • I think this is everyones favorite Cecille song.

  • The reverse version is so epic....

Backwards it says,"We be taking over" .

  • i never liked cecile

  • Best Cecile song ever!

  • TRIPPY

  • the ultimate stalking song <3

  • can anybody else hear the similarity between sheila b devotion's "spacer" and cecile?

  • Oh holy crud, the nostalgia is overwhelming. But I love it. :D

  • im cecille...LOL

  • I miss the classic Sesame Street.

  • @EPiCPlaYLisT123

I agree. Elmo has taken over. Kids these days don't even know who Bert and Ernie are. Why do people want their kids to watch and learn from a character who speaks in the third person?

  • @cheeseballhaggis That explains America's reading scores compared to other countries'.

  • @EPiCPlaYLisT123 The only show Elmo now. They used to have alot of celebrety <----(Is that written right? Sorry, english is not my official language.) guests and all the muppets appeared singing and dancing along with them, it was fun. My favorites are Oscar and Snuffy, but they don't even show them anymore. :'(

  • The song was sexy to me even when I was little, but Cecile was just weird. Not now, though; today I clearly see her as the sexiest orange rubber ball in the universe.

Love it when she gets her lips right in your face at 1:02 and 1:42, and her turning into a big, jiggly heart near the beginning.

  • This really sounds like Stevie Nicks.

  • my favorite cecile song!

  • Grover should deliver the words to Fat Blue.

  • hmmm..after watching this again after so many years...i see the other side ot it...when ur in love and would do anything to get to that special someone...swim the ocean or break through ice..drive a long time or stand a long time to get the bus..hmmm

  • HAHAHAHAHAH!!!! ...fuck i remember this :)

<3 love this song and vid...best and first claymation i seen** :D

  • @Londonman84 I believe it's supposed be a way of bringing one's lust to somebody, aside from the fact that she said "I'm gonna bring my love to you!" so therefore, it's not really threatening at all. Whether it's creepy or not, it depends on your perspective.

  • For some reason, the small ones were fine but Cecille scared me every time she came up to the screen quickly, like at 1:02. All I'd remember was this mouth on a ball, with no other facial feature or limb – and that for some reason was eerie at age 3 or 4. I loved when she sang or morphed into any other object, just not when she was in her "true form" and telling me "I'm gonna get to you".

  • the three balls chorus cracks me up

  • Did this haunt anyone else's nightmares? I had dreams about giant mouths eating me in my sleep up to, like, the age of 10 thanks to Cecille (and the "The Word is No" song, of course.)

    Favorited. :P

  • @KapustaCuber Any chance we can trade childhood nightmares? I want yours. =)

  • I'm twenty one, and I remember this.

I was born into the eighties and got to experience the last best influiences of those childhood programs.

  • Wooow I remember this =).

  • Holy Crap i remember this points

  • This was kinda freaky

and i thought it was named a seal

  • haha yeah same here lol :S

  • @okleyskye Who said you had to be 5 to watch this :D

  • @okleyskye me too!

  • ahhh the orange thing!

  • how old is this clip i use to see it when i was small

  • I <3 this i miss the old episodes

  • i especially like the NANANANANANA part

  • i miss the old sesame street not the ones their showing these days...

  • I REMEMBER THIS

  • good music and very complicated animation = sesame street at best

  • omg! I REMEMBER this!! I loved this.

  • I love cecile. I cannot hide from her.

  • based off of ace of base's "beautiful life"

  • What do you mean "This video has been filmed with a camera from a TV."?

  • The person originally posted this filmed it from a camera pointing to the tv screen.

  • Like for example: do you mean like my video camera or digital camera recording at the TV?

  • Yes.

  • But if it's been filmed with a camera from a TV, why does this video look like it was recorded from your computer?

  • It was, but it's just do to the fact that computer capturing is in better quallity.

Don't get me wrong though, I don't care if people do that.

  • Well, how do you capture a video?

  • You need a capturing card.

  • oh this takes me back. sesame street is the bomb, hope my daughter will like it to when she's older.

  • This is so funny.

  • FLASHBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg this is old skool i just went into a flashback daze

  • Aww I love Cecille. :D

  • Me, too!

  • Damn it. I'm too young to feel nostalgic! D:

  • -sigh- I love this =3 addicted to the song!

  • How genius is the intro?

"Cecil I'm gonna catch ya, and when I do I'm gonna have a ball." LOL.

  • I know that is little chrissy that sing the cecile song isn't it?

  • Holy Crap. I just had a flashback! The intro seriously took me back 17 years ago.

  • What'd you see? Seriously. I really want to know!!

  • Me, 3 years old, sitting in a laundry basket watching Sesame Street while my mom slept (she worked nights).. Haha. Oh God.

  • What song was this parodying?

  • Fuck. It's not a parody. It's a sesame street song

  • dude I love this song, but I was wondering what references was cecille trying to make in this song when it was made?

  • i remember this when i was 2!

  • Some of my friends love Cecille.

  • aww cutest memories ever!

    i almost forgot about this:D

  • i'm having a semi-religous experience...this made my childhood.

  • She will forever dwell in my memory...

  • I am 20 yrs old and I STILL get excited when I hear this song (though I will never admit that again. lol.) This brings back memories. Ah....

  • Girl... Im 20 too. And everytime they play this on sesame street I sing and dance along... And yes I still watch sesame street... Im not ashamed of it... LOL

  • thats great!

  • i watch it to on saturdays at 6pm and im 19

  • @CinnamonTwist88 lol me too

  • @CinnamonTwist88 I know how you feel. I was definitely excited to hear this one again. And of course the song in the beginning before she starts singing. Aaahhh, the good old days - this is when TV had value.

  • AWSOME =D

  • i used to buzz out watching this as a kid it still mesmorises me hahahah

  • Manig132: Yes, this song is amazing, if only Sesame Street was still this good! SS was just amazing back in the day, but now, Elmo's taken it at gunpoint, and insists on retarded songs that would make an 8-year-old blush with embarrassment :( SS is dead, but at least we have these videos so it's legacy can live on!

  • I loved this as a kid!!!

  • This is my favorite "Cecille The Ball" song.

  • Awesome.

  • CECIL!!!!!!!!!

  • loveddddd herrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • this is one thing i always remember about sesame street, it just sticks in my head- the orange ball with the big lips lol!

  • as a matter of fact that song does remind me of How Now Brown and the Moo Wave quite a bit because it rocks man, but I was thinking of a great original video you can make, why not have the oinker sisters how now brown and the moo wave and little chrissy and the alphabeats perform Rocky Horror Pictures Show's Time Warp together, it should be great at it should rock so why not give it a shot man.

  • I can't help thinking that the idea from this came from the segment where the orange sings Carmen.

I liked the animation on this.

  • omg i remember this! i used to love it

  • I know who worked on this segment!!!!!

This was done by Teresa Drilling!

An award-winning animator who worked on the Wallace and Gromit movie, Chicken Run, and Coraline.

  • Ah, Cecil!

  • That was great.

  • this was always my favorite Cecille. I havent seen it in over 10 years but I always remembered the chorus. Na na nananana!

  • I've always liked cecille's voice... "Im gonna get to you, na na na na na na na".

  • great video i remember recording it years back for my cousin. Well done wattamack4

  • I don't think it's threatening at all. I think it's got a lot to do with love, romance, sexiness, and spice. It's even got that Ricky Martin feel to it. Besides, I think teens can relate to this song better than little kids can.

  • I think you are correct Rkerekes13
